Sometimes I think and come to the same conclusion.
A free chance of a new life but then the main character goes through something dreadful or something excruciating. It is that intense pain that causes events to happen and the main reasons for the story. But my formal life didn't even deserve a second chance at life.
But then hey I am, though I am a toddler now. That won't remain the same in 3 years or 5 years from now. Though my mind has been made up, I will still learn from my life.

Immediately he pulled out his long sword ready to strike.
I followed the rhythm of his sword and slid under the sword, and though he missed the pressure that followed was intense.
I swung his sword backwards this time but I manipulated my magic and created an ice wall between us. Then I created 6 fire angle bullets around the room, each one trying to strike him. He dodged all of them and came for me.
He released a massive amount of force, a force that was strong enough to destroy the nearby buildings but controlled enough to not destroy our house.
Then after a bit of intense back and forth, my mother rushed in the house. The noise caused from here had reached her.
Then as if he got his free ticket he said I was trying to kill him.
But as mother would, she strongly refused his claims.
But then just as she said that, he struck her. He struck her through the stomach. Then he started laughing.
Finally.
I have destroyed this strong happy family. How sad but as a gift I will tell you a little secret I also killed your father. Though he fought well that battle was not for him to win. It was me, master Rias and a great fire demon.
Just as he finished saying that he rushed at me ready to end me but just as he approached. Something in my eyes changed, something powerful came.

I rushed to the counter deck, I removed the handle gently and took out an old vase. But when I opened it my tears felled my eyes, it was his own pure eyes. It seems he preserved it for me. Because when he was about to leave he poured out his magic into me. And used that magic to come as a spirit form after his death, then took out his pure eyes and stored it in this vase filled with astral energy.
Slowly I removed my eyeballs and replaced them with my dad's eyes. Which caused me to awaken the level 4 pure eye.
Though I had removed it, I felt that I had removed something from myself, but my resolve was made, I would kill Rushed one day.
The pain in my eyes would still be felt. That agonizing and squniching pain was still there but more painful now. Though he did say it would go away after 1 day.
And I should preserve my eyes, I will use them to save some one just not yet.
But just as I preserved it I reflected on my formal life, back then the things I did today would be meaningless. Then I walked to my mother's dead body. I picked her up while crying all the way. Which I can store many different things in the time space. And using that same ability I can reflect my physical body into a spiritual one. Meaning in that stage you can't hit me with any physical attacks. Using that ability I teleported our house in the time space. While crying on the way to the work association.
