Speaking of Partners Alex thought of how he provided Stella Loussier rough details for a private detective to search for in Atlantic federation as the war with plants just started and Stella probably just lost her parents and has not yet been taken to the bio CPU experiment lab. After all if he can secure Stella that will be the same as getting on ace level pilot although she might not reach the level to which she was enhanced and she also need some PTSD counseling before getting her to be a normal pilot without any maniac tendencies.
The following day Alex meet with the people who would be his future partners namely Arthur William, Eric Hayes and Steve Smith as Luck would have it the detective also called informing him about Stella's whereabouts which Alex sent to James and told him to arrange for Stella to be in their house while also providing some counseling so that she could get back to normal life before he takes her to join the private defense force for their colony.
Among the three that came Arthur being out going was the first to greet .
Arthur said " Hi Alex I heard a lot about you from my Dad . I will also be following you from now on . Do take care of me ."
Alex said " I am happy to have you guys with me. As the future for all our families will be filled with a lot of hard work moving away from earth and settling in a space colony. Because space colonies are more prone to many danger natural and man made. So our first trip to Heliopolis is very important as i believe you guys also know of the reason we are specifically going there ? "
Arthur said " Yes we were told by uncle James about the G project MS and New battleship. I learn a lot about battleship commanding from my father but since we are going to get on the new battleship according what you told uncle James i will try to volunteer for the bridge crew if they really do suffer heavy casualties during the ZAFT raid ."
Eric said " I and Steve learned MS piloting with MS that we bought from the junk guild we have 4 GINN's in Nelson Class recently since the war intensified. I heard the reason we only bought 4 and stop buying anymore was because Young master Alex had asked Mister James to not buy more . we didn't know the reason for that till we were assigned to be with you Young Master . Now we know we aren't buying any because we are planing to get the MS data of the G Project and use them to make some of our own which is more safer and cost efficient ."
Alex said " Eric you and Steve don't need to be so stiff as we will be partner for long time you can just call me by my name as "Alex" and refer to dad as Uncle because your parents are dad's most trusted people and even can be called family so no need for any formalities. And as for the MS for you and Steve we will see if we can steal some from Orbs secretly made machines ."
Steve said " I thought we are going to be using the Moebius zero as Uncle James specifically said he was going to ship two secretly into Heliopolis and hide them in our companies private warehouse till we leave ? "
Alex said " Dad made those preparations because we only had a chance to make one G project MS complete with extra parts made for the prototype as if we couldn't make more without attracting attention to our intentions . If it is only one we can still say that we assembled it using Morgenrote's advanced factories and say that we were taken to the factory by the Aegis Chief Engineer after he saw near during the attack while he ordered the assembly and he can also use the fact that he know us before so he took us in and knowing that we are all coordinator he asked one of us to use the machine to defend ourselves and try to stop the ZAFT from stealing the other prototypes. "
Alex continued " As for the Orb's MS I only got information about them from some special channels within orb which we were able to form because of the solar orbital space station. We will see if we can get any of the MS from Orb's if not we will have to use the Moebius as planned . "
By evening all four set off for Heliopolis and Emma also left Orb back to the house in Eurasian Federation after one last meal with the Asuka family because she had gotten very used to Mayu .
After a few days of journey they reached Heliopolis and went to the Villa which belongs to the Ashford's with Arthur , Eric and Steve also living together with Alex.
In the following days they got into the university and started to get along with the local students and others while also meeting with the Aegis Chief engineer to discuss the plan properly so that there won't be any mistakes while also scouting out the secret factories of Orb in the colony without alerting the orb forces.
They also had gotten a rough layout of Morgenrote's building and roads so that they don't make any mistakes during the actual day because of the worry about the ZAFT raid force.
In the following days Alex also got acquainted with Kira yamato and other so that they can at least called friends so that when they get on Archangel there will be some more reason to be together than getting to know them in the Archangel.
Ofcourse one of the reason he could become friends easily with them was because of Frey Allster . Speaking of which is that once after the accident in C.E 66 Alex went to Allster mansion with his father at that time Frey was behaving just as rudely as she normally would talking about coordinators as an abomination but Alex convinced her of how evil the real blue cosmos was and how most people in it are just shouting bad about coordinators because of jealousy. Later Alex also told Frey how their company has found a way to help even a born person to become coordinator but it is not being implemented because a certain technology is still being tested in trail stage and how costly it is and how he would let Frey choose her most desired talents and be adjusted for free as long as she changed her habits against coordinators.
Naturally the technology being told to Frey that time is about the nano technology used in making innovades. Alex by combining the nano technology of Gundam 00 and genetic tecnology of seed had found a way to make any person a coordinator not needing to be genetically adjusted during embryonic stage .
Now coming back to present thanks to that encounter with Frey as middle person Alex and team became friends with Kira yamato and others easily although not to the point of close friends they can be still called friends.
In the following days Alex finally found a desperate person in the Astray technical team to know about the details. As fate would have it because of the extra money saved in power crisis because of N jammers . The Sahaku family of the Orb diverted some more funds to the Astray prototypes and now there are 2 more than the original. one more Gold Astray probably Mina's as gold frames are meant for Orb's noble family's and Black Astray with a variable frame but looking at the progress of the Gold Astray containing connector which supports both Orb's armaments and EA and Black Astray with variable frame they might also be in parts by the time of attack and cannot be deployed but still Alex plans to get all the parts for both these extra's which came into existence because of him as for the reason getting the Gold Astray will make his father happy as it is based on X 105 Strike which he very much misses and when he get the strikes backpack data during the ZAFT raid choas it will make up for strike place even without PS armor and By taking away the Black frames it will ensure the Orb's transformable Murasame won't be made early and cause too much deviation in the progress of the original First war.
Also Alex realised how mistaken he was about thinking to take the Astray's on board Archangel as if the EA got their Hands on the Orb's foam armor technology their mass production MS might become more powerful which is also not very good thing.
So Alex said " Eric , Steve we will have to give up on taking Orb's MS onto the Archangel. So we still have to use the Moebius for you guys ." And explained the reason to them . Both Eric and Steve didn't mind it as they were prepared for using the Moebius from the beginning and they also know that they will have their own MS soon even before the end of war as because of the solar orbital space station and communication income from the wired network had exceeded the original plan and accelerated the earnings of the Ashford group by a very large margin to the point that the space colony can be completed within another year.
