"You're hungry, right?" The Ghoul ripped off an arm.
"I haven't eaten in ages either, so I can't spare you much."
With that, the Ghoul turned and held the arm out. "Here, eat."
"Hah!" In the next instant, another unfamiliar Ghoul appeared behind him, grabbed his clothes, and kicked his head clean off.
"Roll, roll…"
The head rolled to Kaneki Ken's feet, making him tremble in terror.
"Honestly." The newcomer had blond hair and wore glasses.
He adjusted his spectacles, disgust all over his face, "Don't start eating in someone else's feeding ground without permission."
He glanced at Kaneki Ken. "Hm? Never seen you before."
"Tell me," the man said, stepping closer. "Why is only one of your eyes red?"
"Disgusting."
Kaneki shook violently from fear. He wanted to run, but his body wouldn't obey.
"Bang!"
The man suddenly seized Kaneki by the throat and slammed him against the wall, face dark. "Trespassing on my turf—surely you know what happens next?"
Kaneki clawed at the hand, choking, pleading, "N-no… it's not like that…"
"I didn't know… I was just passing by…"
The man ignored him, tightening his grip. "Fine, picture this: your girlfriend's somewhere, stark naked."
"There's a guy beside her in only his boxers, swearing he didn't do a thing."
"That's exactly what you just said, isn't it?" A cruel grin spread across his face.
"If it were me, I'd kill him."
"So I'm going to kill you."
"Penalty for wandering into another Ghoul's feeding ground."
Just then, a female voice rang out. "Whose feeding ground did you say this is?"
Kaneki twisted his head and, to his horror, saw a waitress from Anteiku Coffee Shop!
Kirishima Touka!
"Whose turf? Nishio Nishiki, did you say?"
"Touka?" Nishio tossed Kaneki aside. "I know she's dead—that gluttonous woman!"
"Tap."
Light footsteps echoed as another figure stepped into the alley. "So the big bug died and you, the little bug, think the place is yours?"
The newcomer lifted his head; blood-red eyes brimmed with violence and hunger.
Kaneki and Touka were both stunned!
"Mr. Akuto?"
Nishio, not grasping the danger, tilted his head at Akuto, sneering. "A human?"
"And who do you think you are, sticking your nose in my business?"
Touka quickly shielded Akuto. "Mr. Akuto, get out of here! That's the A-rated Ghoul, Nishio Nishiki!"
"There are two kinds of people I hate in this life."
"Those who won't let me act arrogant, and those who act more arrogant than me."
Akuto brushed Touka aside, hoisted Kaneki up, and pinned him to the wall, coldly. "Hey, kid."
"Repaying that cake cost me a lot of time."
"I'll squash this bug for you and we'll be even."
"Whoosh!"
Akuto vanished, reappeared behind Nishio, and slammed a brutal roundhouse into him.
"What!"
"So fast!"
Both Nishio and Touka's pupils shrank.
Nishio hadn't time to react before a titanic force struck his back.
He shot off like a cannon, half his shoulder blade shattered!
"Rip!"
Nishio stabbed his Kagune into the wall mid-air, braking hard and landing. "He's so strong—gotta run!"
Nishio's heart pounded; he spun to flee. He could bully the weak, but against this monster he hadn't the courage to fight.
Yet when he turned, Akuto was already there, smiling mockingly.
"What, you only pick on the weak?"
"Pathetic trash."
"Boom!!"
Akuto's fist punched clean through Nishio's chest, then he spun and kicked again!
"Crash!"
Nishio flew, crashed down, and spat a gout of blood.
"Tap, tap, tap…"
His vision fading, Nishio could barely see a pair of feet walking toward him.
Then his head was lifted.
"Mr. Akuto—cough, cough…"
Kaneki struggled to sit up, "Could you… let him go… please…"
"Oh?" Akuto, gripping Nishio's hair, turned to Kaneki with a derisive smile.
"You…"
"Shluck!"
Akuto stepped on Nishio's shoulder and yanked his head—spine attached—out of the body. Warm blood splashed across Kaneki's face.
"Don't have that kind of authority over me."
"Plop."
Kaneki's pupils quivered as the "lamb spine" landed before him; he let out an inhuman scream. "Aaaargh!!!"
Beside them, Touka backed away, throat bobbing. "He… he didn't even get his Kagune out…"
"Is this guy… even human?"
Akuto glanced elsewhere, wiping his hands with a handkerchief.
"Take the kid and go; someone's coming."
Touka hesitated, then grabbed Kaneki and vanished across the rooftops.
Moments later, two figures—one tall, one short—appeared at the alley's end.
"Oh~ look, Amon, what do we have here?"
A stooped, platinum-haired man with mismatched eyes cackled.
"Scraps devouring scraps."
Akuto blinked, oddly amused to see them.
Mado Kureo and Koutarou Amon?
Mado Akira's dad?
"Seems they think I'm a Ghoul," he mused.
No quinque—an ordinary human couldn't beat a Ghoul bare-handed, let alone tear one in half.
"Hey, trash, know what this is?" Mado Kureo brandished a blood-stained pair of pliers.
"You've got to be kidding." Akuto chuckled, turned to leave.
He couldn't be bothered with the fanatic and his muscle-headed partner.
"I didn't say you could walk away, you filthy monster."
Mado flicked his wrist; the quinque snapped into a green, spindle-shaped blade aimed at Akuto's neck.
"Scram."
Akuto pivoted and kicked, toes catching Mado full in the face.
Mado spun like a top and slammed to the ground.
"Inspector Mado!"
Amon whipped out his own quinque—something like a giant ham-hock—and swung it down.
Akuto sidestepped; Mado lunged again with his sword.
Akuto finally pulled his hands from his pockets.
He seized Mado by the collar and Amon by the neck, yanked them together—
"Crash!"
The two smashed face-first, blood spurting.
"Scum! I'll kill you!" Mado raised his quinque and slashed at Akuto's waist.
Murder flashed in Akuto's eyes.

T/N: If he did kill him he won't be able to get Akira's puss.
