The classroom door opened with a creak.

"Everyone, listen up," the teacher said.
"This is Instructor Rowan Hale. From now on, I'll be supervising your beginner Pokémon trial."
The class straightened instantly.
"You have one hour," Hale continued.
"Enter the dungeon zone, find your first Pokémon, and capture it."
"Survive, don't be reckless, and don't fight other students."
Everyone nodded eagerly.

Before Splitting Up
As the students began heading out, Alex turned to Cornelia and Euphemia.
"Let's meet after this is over."
Both nodded immediately.
"See you later," Alex added with a grin.
"Little Eupy… and little pig."
Cornelia froze.
Her face turned red instantly.
"DON'T—call me that!"
Alex waved and walked off casually.
Behind him—
Cornelia stomped her foot.
"That idiot!"
Euphemia giggled softly.
"Sister, your face is completely red."

Leon's Jealousy
Leon watched the scene from afar.
His nails dug into his palms.
Those were supposed to be mine.
Euphemia and Cornelia—
The girls who always rejected him.

Alex followed the familiar path from the canon timeline.
Rusty rocks.

Faint metallic echoes.

Steam practically rose from her head.
