The rain returned the next day ,as if it had something unfinished. Ahmad arrived earlier than usual. He chose the same seat - not because it was the most comfortable, but because it remembered yesterday .He kept telling himself not to expect Isla. But his heart refused to listen. The door opened. Isla walked in, her scarf slightly damp, her eyes tired yet peaceful. For a brief moment, their eyes met, and something unspoken was understood. Hira found courage to smile first. 'I WASN'T SURE YOU WOULD COME' 'she said as she sat across from him. 'I WAS '', Ahmad replied honestly. 'I DONT WAIT USUALLY FOR PEOPLE...BUT TODAY FELT DIFFERENT.'' Isla lowered her gaze. ''SOME MEETINGS DON'T HAPPEN WITHOUT A REASON ,'' she said softly, ''EVEN IF WE DON'T UNDERTAND THE REASON YET.'' That day , they talked longer. Nothing important, just some sentences, with long silences resting between them. Aiden realized that Isla spoke little, but when she did, her words reach the heart. And Isla noticed that Aiden listened not just words , but to silence too. When they stood to leave, the rain had grown heavier. At the door ,Isla said quietly; 'sometimes it feels like some people enter our lives only to understand us. 'Aiden said nothing. He simply smiled. Because he knew-this story was not written in words, but in silence.
