CHAPTER 1: SURVIVE

Touka jolts awake beneath a tree,drenched in sweat,chest heaving.
"Are you alright..?" Mary asks touka her voice trembles she sees the fear written all over his face.
"Papa papa .... are you okay?" Who would ask such a question but touka's adopted daughter millim.
Touka forces a faint exhale.
Millim smiles,lifting herself up to touch the tree leaves.
"You fell asleep while i was dancing let me show you again ...okay?" A chuckle
"come on,touka she worked hard on this one".
"i call this one.... sparrow"

A few years later, millim is now a young woman graceful,admired,beautiful.
"Good morning,dad" millim runs to touka
"Hmmm" He answered by nodding his head,behind him is Mary talking to some elderly folks .
"Say Dad.... why don't you ever talk much....?"
Mary runs towards them "goooooodmorning,Touka! Millim!"
"Big sis" she runs to hug Mary.
Suddenly,as Mary passes a stranger,a voice whisper into her ear
"No more delays" then disperses into the crowd before Mary could comprehend. Touka notices, but brushes it aside after all we're in the market.

As theyre about to get home to prepare dinner "Touka,can you get meat for dinner?"
"Hmmm sure"
At the village market a cold fear cuts through him, cold breeze slid past him.
His instincts tightened like a blade being sharpened.
"Ahhhhhh please let me go mister"
A scream he knew better than his own breath "millim"
He ran like his own life was at death's door.
Touka bursts into the house the sight freezes him... blood millim is pinned to the ground,surrounded by village men.
"D-dad .....help....."
Touka enraged begins fighting with swift steps he decapitated 3 hefty men and 4 then more the numbers kept increasing till a shadow grabs him soon more grab him surprising even him a master of the light feet.
" how did I not sense them" these words ran through his skull before he was slammed to the ground.
"Let me go!Let me-!!" a voice answers "You may continue".
The men continue violating Millim.
"Huh" Touka couldn't believe his ears what he had heard.
His screams twist into something inhuman.
"STOP!PLEASE!PLEASE!-SHE'S JUST A CHILD!! But the one who steps forward with a moment of laughter she emerges who else but Mary.
"So the great assassin can beg pitiful to think I actually looked up to you a bit".
"D-dad!!".
"Tch, shut up bitch" she kicks Millim in the stomach millim coughs blood,eyes reaching desprately towards Touka. He breaks completely.
"Ah ah ah ah ah yo touka it's been a long time eh?".
"Re-Re Ren? Wh-what are you doing here Wait don't tell me. Touka grinds his teeths hard.
You promised you bastard, you said I was free from the organisation after that last job."
With a devilish smile running down his face "naive as ever eh." Touka's voice cracks into rage.
"Oh,Touka.You really believed that? Nobody leaves the organisation." Laughter bursts throughout the villagers and with more kicks to millim he dusts his suit "don't let her blood stain me here's a gun finish the job and him" handing a glock 489 to a villager. "Well then you've been a useful tool thank you and goodbye. Pow pow pow 3 shots to millim's body, 2 to her chest and 1 to her head sending her to the other side.
Millim Collapses..
Touka's scream tears the night apart .Touka free's himself with bruth force almost breaking his bones and charges at Ren but is stopped again by the shadow guards wrestling him to the ground, while Ren drags millim's body and throws it off the cliff. "Ren!!!!!"
" Why don't you do yourself a favour and shut up and be forgotten like the rest of your clan"
BANG BANG 1 shots to touka's head and 1 to his chest.
Ren throws Touka off the cliff "Rest now TOUKA you've done enough.
"Activate" "Activate" "Activate!!!!!!!!!!!
"Activate my will drive" these were what ran through touka's mind "do I still have a drive?"

Will drive, a superhuman ability given to us by the gods allowing us to surpass our limits in certain conditions of all the people who have awakened their drive there has never been none who hasn't experienced it a real life changer. We have 3 drives
Cell drive > will drive > all drive.
For over 500 years there has never been one to awaken the all state ( all drive ).
As touka fell Mary watched wanting to see him to his bitter end.
Touka falls faster and faster in a spilt of a second with remaining of his active cells.
He sees at the edge of a cliff (Red spider lillies)
And out of pure instinct he gives off a creepy smile.
Splash, the once blue river turns red with 2 bodies, 1 drowning with a Sign of struggle or life the other floating like 2 destinies cut short.
2 CHAPTER 2: REDEMPTION.
Touka in an unconscious state continues to drown and begins to question himself "Touka" Every time i close my eyes i always see some woman praying for me and then some guy kills her right in front of me and looks directly at me.
What the hell is that even supposed to mean.

Ahhhhhhh yes I've heard it so many times it
Doesn't even faze me anymore
I hate this world it's so cruel, lawless and unjustified.

Wait I almost forgot a secret rule it does follow

From wide range of the ocean floor a hand
Emerges.

"Relax, there's no way he's coming back,have you forgotten the fool couldn't even activate his drive,something even a 5 year old could accomplish".
"Don't think about the past and focus on the present, focus on what's to come if i remember you love being paid more than anyone else"
Mary's mood quickly changes and she then starts to smile
Ren staring at her with one eye
"hmm women,your greed will be the end of you all" "what do you mean the end of me? money is the source of my great strenght after all it is my drive".
Both of them stares down at each other,and begin to laugh in the car driving both of them to the organisation.
A few minutes later both get down from the car as they have reached their destination. A guard approaches both of them "the apostle awaits you" stepping aside for them to pass
Both walk in to meet him
Ren takes off his shoe's,but mary forgets to
"sir we've - huh"?
The apostle stops him before he finished talking,by raising one of his finger and continues to pray
But then opens one eye to look at them,both Ren and mary the apostle notices mary still has her shoes on while she being as oblivious as usual doesn't react in time before the apostle catches with kinetic force.
The apostle using a force to choke her "how many times do I have to tell you to always take your shoes off? It seems you're not ready to listen,so why don't I set you as an example? I'm sure the gods will look pass this after all it is me". Mary struggling while the apostle strangles her even harder so close to breaking her neck mary pulls out a coin right has he was about to snap her neck.
*Snap*
The apostle opens his hand and broken pieces of a coin falls out
And sees mary on the ground coughing.
The apostle walks up to her.
"what amount of greed do you have to make money just has valuable has your life"? Mary spits blood then wipes it. Sighs "what a pityful soul you have".Back in the church the apostle,Ren and mary are having a discussion round the table
"Mary" the apostle calls her.
"You reached mary"."I want you to go overlook and take care of someone downtown" "ugh .... is the pay handsome"? " I beg your pardon mary, when have I ever not paid you well"? "Yes, Yes sure" "Good, you may leave oh and i'll send your payment tonight" "sure thing" she says.
" Ren " "Yes" those children you brought in,are quite the specimen especially the white haired one well done".
"Keep it up and you might just" Ren interrupts him "yeah yeah and I might just be the apostle... don't bullshit me apostle ah sorry or should I say "ELIAS VORTIGERN" you and i both know youre immortal there is no next apostle" the apostle angry " I told you my name is between us" "if there's nothing more to it, i'll be taking my leave" standing up to take his leave "yh, oh and before i forget go with mary,keep close to her" "uh why"? Ren walks out of the church,closing the door on the apostle leaving him in the darkness of the room.
3. CHAPTER 3: LET THE WAR BEGIN
THREE DAYS after the entire comossion, the village has a festival.
village head: welcome everyone [smiles], today is last of our yearly festival [gramani]
and as you all know this is not just any festival, this is done to pick out our next head of the village and someone to give our village a high survival rate with his every decision.
Now then the contestants should now line up
villagers:[mummering] why continue the festival when we already know it's his son that wins [All laughing ]
The village head overhears and smiles
Village head: now then contestants,it is time for the final trail of festival : The Fishing Trail
this is to test skills in providing enough food for the village
Now good luck contestants
Every contestants talk to their family giving them prayers of good luck
Village head: Now go out their son,make me proud yuno

Village head: Now let the final festival trail begin
All the contestants head towards the shore
Fisher man a: you know i still don't know why we still have to compete.

fisherman A: i better throw him back into the ocean, or else he might stink up the store

Narrator: This world follow a power system of simplycity,the basic of them is cell drive
Cell drive is the first stage where your body acts according to the cell in your body.this stage is uncontrollable as it is still unconscious.
the rest of the fishermen panic as to see touka standing tall

Narrator: it is simple but yet complex,every living possess a drive something they want or something to protect.
like how a baby cries when it's hungry,or when tree grows taller than any,and a lion protect it's teritorry from other competitors
they all follow the most common drive: adaptation, in this world it's adapt or die
The most basic,yet the strongest
cell drive: survival
Touka again takes down another contestant in a flash
Fisher man b: burnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he uses the cell drive attempting to burn him
Touka dogdes the flames and stabs in the arm,and holds it in an armlock,he removes the dragger an stabs in another place of the arm,kick him an breaks his arm
He sreams as he was trown to the ground
Touka leaves and moves to the others running and kills one by one,no matter how they used there will drive, touka over came them
Yuno runs towards the village bleeding out
Touka covered in blood of the rest of fishermen
Followed yuno as his trail of blood make path
With a face of a deep emotionless void
Yuno: Fuck,fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck how is that bastard still alive
i have to warn them,the bastard is heading towards them
Fuck it hurts,can't see everywhere's blurry fuck
Village head: [i wonder what that noise was]
where are the boys
i think i should go check up on them
Then yuno showing panting heavyly and bleeding out
Village head: Yuno!!
Yuno: He's coming,that bastard is still alive [breaths in]

The village head takes a step towards yuno
but as that step was taken,his son's head rolls to the ground
The whole village in pale
Village head: Y-yuno
Touka walks out from the shadows,his aura so high he manipulates the air around him.
He says nothing but one movement of his says it all
He points his dagger toward the village head
His stance says
Come at me,All of you
Village head: [with a straight face on] what about the rest
Touka says nothing
Village head: i see
lights out
[All] cell drive
4. CHAPTER 4:GONE [ashes of the past]
This is enough you've done enough
*survive* *survive* *survive*
You've done all you could,it's time to rest now
*survive* *survive*
Come and join me in enternal ebliss won't you dad.

{both voices echoed in touka's head as he drowned}
Unknown voice: Choose wisely to whom you listen to for pleasure is closest thing to death
Touka: i-i think i've done enough i want to rest now
Unknown voice: FOOL
Listen here you are neither special nor a choosen one you are nothing but a pawn and will die when I say so.
* wake up, drive*
Back to the present time
Touka: *breaths in/breaths out
Touka stares down
And stares back up
One of the village folk appears infront of him with a knife about to stab him in eye
He dogedes by going down
But by the 000000.1 mini second he used to doged another attack came immedailly, a woman threw a boulder at him hiting him and pushing back
He crashes into the woods
Touka: [ sigh] wha-
But before he could even complete his sentence a muscular old came with imence speed
And gave a really powerfull uper cut to touka,the impact sends touka flying into the trees
Touka with the bright light of the sun blinding him he saw the village head standing on one of the trees and other old village folks lookin down on him
Village head: You know they say
With youth comes curiosity
And with old age comes wisdom
The youth are foolish from brith but gain wisdom as they age
Unfortunately you will be a fool forever.
Village head: GO.
All the village folks dash towards touka, then the village head vanishes like air
Touka: [breathes out slowly but fast ]
Then leap's into the air
then he intercepted by an arrow dodges by a nick of time by then a whole a swarm of arrows follows
They did not have an army of archers, but just one man firing them
He was swift as he was precise, if touka had dodged one he would reply with two more and thus he neither safe on ground nor the sky
. He was a prey in a garden of predetors.
The look on touka's face was not the one who was worried but the one who had gone insane mid battle.
The arrows continued coming one after another pushing touka back as he douged
Then a chain rolled around his leg bringing back down
Hitting down to the ground really hard, as bounced upon impact the same old muscler old appeared in his face with a fist in the air lookin like his about to end him with that one punch.
His grazzed his hair touka uses his hand to move his fist to ground
The old man creates a huge craddle
without even a sec to breathe a boulder trown at him, followed by arrows hitting to a tree then the chain ties to it
Touka free's himself before the incoming arrows hit him
And runs around in the forest trying to use the forest to his environment to his advantage
But then a girl runs up to and kisses him
Village head: [smirkes] Got him
Touka couldn't react
infact he couldn't even think straight,he was trapped in a loop of memories of the good times of millim and mary
The musclure old came to him,look at touka with anger then punched him in the face with all his might
He punched him out of the forest,back into the village grounds where the village head was sitting on his throne with his legs crossed looking at touka with disgust
Touka: M-MILLIM
The old man lifts him by the hair and throws him to the feet of the village head
Village head: [Unsheathes his sword] Make him kneel
He walks up to touka
Touka: millim millim
Village head: Like i said with youth comes foolishness
[raises his sword} and this will be your last foolish mistake

Touka sees a red spider lilly under the village head's chair
Touka: [smiles]
Village head: [slice]
All village folks in pale to what saw
Touka had a dagger and stabbed the village head on his nape
Touka: And like they say with old age, the closer the ripper is.
