"I'm now checking out, I can't find you here," Alexis struggled with her three bags and her phone that was pinched between her ear and shoulder to hold it still.
"I'm at gate A, babe."
"And that's basically the farthest from where I am right now," she let out a frustrated grunt in reply.
"Don't worry, aren't you the strong I-can-do-anything one woman army?" Rebecca giggled through the device.
"Wait until I find you and make your laugh vanish, Becky," another frustrated noise came out.
Somehow struggling for some more, Alexis finally saw Rebecca supporting her back in her car, waiting for Alexis. As soon as her eyes fell on her, she ran to hug her. The hug was returned instantly.
"Welcome home, babe."
"For the nth time, yes," Alexis grinned.
"Don't leave so often if you don't want that many welcome wishes each time," Rebecca replied while putting her suitcases on the car trunk.
The grin became wider just before her cellphone chimed with notifications.
