Prologue: For Those Who Are Not to Be Seen

"Boring!" a young female voice groaned, her tone dripping with impatience as she tapped her foot restlessly.

"Don't you understand? We've been repeating the same thing all over and over. Shouldn't we switch it up a bit to keep things interesting?" she prompted, her eyes flickering with a hint of mischief.

"Lady Justice, please do not shout in the courtroom," a stern male voice admonished. Sir Era, the head judge, fixed her with a serious look. "We must remain professional in here."

"I suppose I can tone it down a little," Justice conceded, glancing toward the doorway. "After all, we have an intriguing guest arriving soon. Seven, was it?"

"Correct, Your Honour," Era responded politely, adjusting his glasses.

Justice leaned forward, her expression serious. "We must keep a close eye on her. We can't let her pry into our secrets. If those secrets got out, it could ignite a revolution among the populace."

"Very well, madam. I'll instruct all of our Chevaliers to monitor her closely," Era assured her.

Justice's eyes sparkled with anticipation. "Anyway, we should throw a grand party! Invite all the wealthy elites, and make sure the peasants are left outside. They'd only ruin the festivities."

"Noted, Lady Justice," Era replied, nodding respectfully.
