In this story, Hiccup's loneliness and pain lead him to a place even dragons fear—a hidden garden where the Goddess of Death, Hela, reigns. Instead of finding an end, he finds a being who sees him for what he truly is, awakening a connection neither of them expected.
This is an experiment in tone and plot. I plan to post only five chapters of this concept to gauge interest and see if the dynamic between a broken, resilient Hiccup and a possessive, ancient Hela resonates with you all.
