For Sayo, the experience was a trial by fire. Restoring a shaky foundation meant "breaking" before "establishing." As the neutralized energy forcibly reshaped atrophied meridians, Sayo endured a mixture of soreness and stinging pain that felt like a protracted torture. He often clenched his jaw until his gums bled, suppressing any sound of weakness.
The Transformation
But the rewards were undeniable. The transparent, sickly pallor of his skin was replaced by a faint, healthy flush. The stark blue veins that once mapped his frailty retreated. More importantly, his internal sensation changed. The pervasive fatigue was receding; his breathing was becoming deep and rhythmic. He was no longer a boy a gust of wind could knock over.

However, this time, the river was no longer blocked.
When he guided the fusion of Physical and Spiritual Energy, he felt a sudden, clear surge—like a dried-up spring finally striking an aquifer. The two energies merged naturally and rapidly. The resulting flow was no longer a pitiful wisp; it was a steady, continuous stream.
The Birth of a Ninja
This stream flowed through his meridians with a fullness Sayo had never known in his nine years of life. He opened his eyes, a brilliant light erupting in his dark pupils. He focused his intent on his fingertip.

A clearly visible, faint blue aura flickered into existence. It was weak, but incredibly stable—a blue flame that cast a soft glow in the dim room. It wasn't just "detectable"; it was tangible.

Sharyu opened his eyes. Seeing the stable blue light, he stood up so abruptly he nearly knocked over his meditation stool. He rushed over, his senses tingling as he felt the energy. "Stable... solid... Sayo, this is it. This is standard Genin-level Chakra!"
While the quantity was only at the threshold, the quality and stability surpassed many of his peers. The greatest shackle—the biological inability to generate fuel—had been shattered by his own machine.
Sayo looked at the blue light on his fingertip. How many failures, how much despair, and how many sleepless nights of labor had led to this single spark? His nose stung with unshed tears. He was no longer a "cripple" playing at being a ninja.
From today onward, Sayo was a shinobi with the power to move. The path ahead had finally broadened.
