Chapter 37
New World, Beehive Island.
By now, Beehive Island had long been transformed by Rocks into a true paradise for pirates.
Every day, an endless stream of pirates flocked to join Rocks' banner.
This allowed the Rocks Pirates to quickly establish a firm foothold in the New World.
Inside a bar on Beehive Island,
a sexy, curvaceous beauty was quietly flipping through the latest intelligence reports.
Her beautiful eyes soon stopped on a photo of Vilin.
When she saw the image of Vilin gently embracing a woman with a prominently swollen belly, both of them wearing happy smiles,
her expression immediately became unnatural.
Her face darkened. She picked up a cigarette from the table and began smoking heavily, exhaling clouds.
But soon after, a confident smile returned to her lips. She crushed the cigarette out.
On the boundless sea,
a merchant ship sailed steadily across the water.
Suddenly,
a lookout in a sailor uniform spotted something through his monocular telescope.
A ship flying black sails was heading straight toward them.
Cold sweat instantly broke out on the lookout's forehead.
He hurriedly shouted toward the deck:
"Pirate ship approaching!"
On deck,
the relaxed tourists who had been enjoying the voyage panicked the moment they heard "pirates."
In an instant,
chaos erupted across the deck.
Everyone desperately ran toward the ship's cabins.
Among the crowd, a woman with long white shoulder-length hair was swept along by the panicked mob toward the cabin.
Just as she was about to enter,
her backpack slipped from her shoulder and fell to the deck.
Seeing her bag drop, the white-haired woman forgot about escaping.
She turned back and rushed toward it.
At that moment,
the black-sailed pirate ship had already drawn close to the merchant vessel.
As the pirates approached,
the people on deck could clearly see the brutal, savage faces of the attackers.
The pirates laughed wildly at the sight of the terrified "little fat sheep."
They threw grappling hooks toward the merchant ship and began climbing aboard along the ropes.
Soon, several pirates reached the deck.
When one pirate saw a merchant-dressed man running toward the cabin,
a cruel smile spread across his face. He grabbed the man by the collar
and stabbed straight through his heart.
After confirming the man was dead,
the pirate rummaged through his body.
On the other side,
the white-haired woman finally retrieved her fallen backpack.
Just as she turned to run toward the cabin,
she looked up in horror.
The cabin entrance had already been completely blocked by pirates.
Only a few desperate people were still slamming against the door.
But no matter how hard they pushed, the door wouldn't budge.
Aboard the Flying Bird,
Vilin was enjoying a relaxing massage from his crew, humming contentedly.
Just as he was about to doze off,
Annie's shout woke him.
"Captain Vilin! A pirate ship ahead is attacking a merchant vessel!"
Hearing about pirates,
Vilin lazily stood up and looked ahead.
He saw
a pirate ship launching an assault on a merchant vessel.
Pirates were climbing along ropes toward the merchant deck.
"Sophia, steer toward them. I want to join the fun."
"It's been a month since I last fought—my hands are itching."
With that, Vilin leaped off the ship.
A massive pink flower bloomed from his back, carrying him swiftly through the air toward the scene.
Meanwhile,
a bloody massacre was unfolding on the merchant ship.
The white-haired woman watched in terror as a man's head was chopped off by a pirate.
To her despair, two pirates approached her with lewd grins.
The white-haired woman desperately wished a hero would descend from the sky to save her.
But no one came.
She regretted everything.
She regretted going alone to search for those historical texts.
While she was lost in regret,
a scruffy, middle-aged pirate walked toward her.
His eyes scanned her body's private areas with naked lust.
The white-haired woman trembled with fear as his gaze grew hotter.
History? What good is history when your life is at stake!
Unfortunately, it was already too late. She might soon become nothing more than a plaything for these pirates.
Just as the pirate reached for her clothes,
a flash of sword light appeared before his eyes.
Splurt!
The pirate stared in horror—
he saw his own backside.
Then everything went dark.
The white-haired woman, who had been filled with despair, suddenly saw hope.
She looked up.
Floating in the air was a handsome young man in a white shirt,
a huge pink flower blooming from his back.
As the pirate's corpse collapsed to the deck,
savage, furious glares immediately turned toward Vilin.
Seeing one of their own killed,
the pirates roared in rage.
"Get him! Kill this bastard who dares resist the Black Shark Pirates!"
At the command,
every pirate charged toward Vilin.
To Vilin, these small fries were nothing.
With a casual swing of his sword,
Whoosh!
A five-meter-long green slash cut through the air toward the group.
Under their terrified gazes, it sliced them clean in half.
Seeing Vilin's overwhelming power,
the remaining pirates halted, watching him warily.
Vilin landed lightly beside the white-haired woman.
Yes—the newcomer was none other than Vilin, who had just arrived.
Vilin looked at the white-haired woman before him.
In an instant, he was reminded of Nico Robin from the anime.
Looking at this woman who resembled Robin by ninety percent,
a ripple stirred in Vilin's heart.
Robin had always been one of his favorite characters in One Piece.
The white-haired woman noticed the handsome young man staring at her.
A shy blush spread across her wheat-colored cheeks.
Even her heartbeat quickened uncontrollably.
