"Diana... what are you doing?"
"I asked you first," Diana leaned closer. She pressed her hands flat against his shoulders, forcing him further down into the cushions. "What were you doing alone with her?"
As she leaned in, Kurt picked up a sweet aroma of wine clinging to her breath.
"Wait... are you drunk?"
"I am… not drunk," she shot back, though a beautiful flush colored her cheeks.
"I've only had a little to drink while speaking with those… insufferable principals. Barely a glass. Nowhere near enough to intoxicate me… *hic*.
"Now. Stop trying to change the subject. Tell me what you and Faye were doing."
As she spoke, her fingers curled inward, and her perfectly manicured nails dug sharply through the fabric of his tailored suit into his shoulders.
"H-Hey, stop that. You're going to ruin this nice suit."
Her grip tightened. "Rosie…"
