Suddenly, deep within the ancient coffins, the Moonshade blood vampire elders began to struggle.
From the outside, nothing was visible at first.
The stone lids still trembled, the foul odor still leaked through the seams, and the blood mana continued to churn like a storm trapped underground.
Yet the vampires gathered in the hall felt it, a strange unease crawling up their spines, as if something deeply wrong was unfolding just beyond their sight.
"What's happening inside?" one noble whispered, covering his nose as the smell worsened.
