Chapter 14 – "The God Outside the Novel"
The story begins from where it ended last time.
Outside the Novel –
Kritika (smiling but speaking in anger to the MC):
"I am the god of this novel. Whenever I want, I can kill any character.
You were just a side character in this novel. I made you the main character.
You are the only one who can think on his own, yet you never follow my will.
Just wait… I will destroy your life. You will beg for death…
but even death will not come to you."
Kritika:
"How dare you talk to me like this? I can control your world however I want."
Kartik:
"You will not leave this gate so easily. Now the whole world will chase you.
Let's see how you survive.
Inside this gate, you will lose your humanity.
You will never be able to return to your home."
Kartik starts laughing madly:
"Navi, you are the side character… and I am the main character 💀."
Inside the Novel –
Goblin Lord's Scene –
A voice echoes in the Lord's ear:
"Do not send your monsters. The one you are sending them to is not an ordinary human.
Call them back, or your companions will die."
Lord Monster:
"Who are you to give me orders?"
Unknown Voice:
"Think of me as your friend.
The enemy of your enemy is your friend.
I know everything about him.
Believe me if you want… or don't."
The Lord Monster stops his companions from going forward.
Lord Monster:
"You also seem very powerful.
Then why are you afraid of him? What are you hiding?
How can I trust that you are on my side?
I can feel that human's power even from here.
Killing him will not be easy."
Unknown Voice:
"There is a way… a very simple way for him to lose."
Lord Monster:
"Tell me."
Unknown Voice:
"The human who is coming toward you cannot use his power in front of humans."
Lord Monster:
"Why is that?"
Unknown Voice:
"Because of a curse.
As long as you see him as a human, he cannot use his power."
Lord Monster:
"Interesting… very interesting.
You are not helping for free. What do you want?"
Unknown Voice (with a greedy smile):
"In today's world, nothing is free.
The thing you asked from the humans… I want that."
Monster Lord:
"Why should I give it to you?
You have already given me all the information.
Now that thing is mine too, and you are no longer useful to me."
Unknown Voice:
"You are betraying me."
Monster Lord:
"There is no betrayal.
You came to me. I did not come to you."
Unknown Voice:
"You will regret this… your condition will become miserable."
Lord Monster:
"Whatever happens, we'll see."
The Lord Monster releases pressure with his power.
Scene Shift – Toward Navi –
Navi:
"Why hasn't anyone come yet?
I can't feel any monsters, and no one is approaching."
He asks the monster beside him.
Goblin:
"I don't know, Lord.
They must have already found out about us."
Navi:
"What should we do now…
It seems I will have to go to him."
Navi:
"You protect these humans.
If anything happens to them, you will die a painful death."
Goblin (trembling):
"I will not let anything happen to them. You go."
Outside the Novel –
Kartik:
"The Lord didn't listen to me.
If I had obtained that thing, my work would have become very easy."
A black aura begins to leak from Kartik's body.
Kartik:
"All the characters are slipping out of my control…
Navi, I will not let you win!"
He starts behaving like a madman.
Red Window –
"You have failed your mission.
Therefore, you are punished with 50 Kora.
Your room temperature has been set to the climate of Mines Zero for two days."
Kartik:
"You can't do this to me, System Window!"
The punishment begins…
Only Kartik's screams can be heard from his room.
