Chapter 3: End of the Poison Web
The story begins exactly where the previous chapter ended.
Inside the Portal
Zoya's entire team was badly injured. Everyone was struggling to even stand.
Zoya (thinking):
This spider's web and its poison are extremely powerful. I need to attack its legs somehow.
Zoya shouted—
Zoya:
Aira Lumine, you're the healer. Heal all our teammates immediately!
Aira Lumine:
Okay, Leader… but I don't have much magic energy left.
Zoya:
That's fine. Do as much as you can.
Narration:
Zoya realizes she has no other option left. She decides to launch a direct attack. At that moment, memories of her commander's words from the past begin to surface in her mind.
Training Scene (Flashback)
Zoya asks her commander—
Zoya:
If we ever face a spider-type boss monster, what should we do?
Commander:
Its legs are its weak point. Attacking the legs won't kill it immediately, but it will severely weaken the monster. After that, strike its abdomen to finish it. But remember—never let its blood touch your body.
Present Scene
The boss monster suddenly launches a poison attack at Zoya. She swiftly dodges it and rushes straight toward the spider's legs.
The spider is shocked and quickly retreats backward at incredible speed. Zoya feels confused.
Zoya (thinking):
This spider is too fast, and my teammates are critically injured. If I don't do something now, we'll all die here.
I have to put all my power into a single attack…
Zoya turns toward the healer—
Zoya:
Aira, give me your remaining energy. I'm going to use all my power in one final strike.
Aira Lumine:
Okay, Leader.
The spider moves rapidly from one place to another—here, then there—almost as if it's playing with them.
Zoya charges forward with everything she has and unleashes a massive slash. In a single strike, the spider is split into two pieces from the center.
Immediately after the attack, Zoya collapses and loses consciousness.
Aira Lumine:
Leader! Are you okay?
There is no response.
At that moment, the portal's color changes from red to green.
The portal has been cleared.
Outside the Portal
Zoya's teammates exit the portal while supporting each other. Everyone is badly injured.
Moments later, Zoya regains consciousness and walks out calmly. In her hand is an A-Rank Monster Core.
The members of the Mini Guild now enter the portal to collect the crystals.
Outside, a reporter begins asking questions, but no one responds.
Suddenly, a black vehicle arrives to pick up Zoya and her team. Seeing the person inside, everyone is shocked.
Zoya:
Commander? What are you doing here?
Commander (angrily 😡):
Get inside the vehicle! Do you even realize how big a mistake you made? Because of you, the team's reputation could have been destroyed. Just one mistake is enough to ruin everything!
Zoya, I didn't expect this from you. Now get in the car—quickly.
Scene Shift
The scene shifts to Navi, who is sitting beside a beggar and happily asking for alms 😅😅😅
He looks extremely proud, as if begging were some kind of honorable job 😁
