With all introductions made clear to her on her tour she was almost a part of the school. In the hallway she unpacked her things into her locker and just before she could turn Hazel was standing before her wearing a smile that could possibly commit murder, with Sophie and Patricia standing besides her. "I heard there was a new beauty in school and wanted to personally invite you to join the Mockingbirds". Hazel sounded nice but as Paige looked across her to Marie, she knew she had to just agree. "I have a tight schedule for today but I will try and make it" she explained with no sign of intimidation. Hazel was surprised at this gesture. Normally, everyone is afraid or intimidated by her but not this new girl. She thought maybe it was because she was new so she should give her some time. "See you in class then" she said then left with her minions following. Just then the bell rang and she walked with Marie into the class. There was no teacher so she was safe with the new kid introductions. All the guys were already in talking and laughing. With all the male eyes turning to the model with a black sleeveless top and a skirt that was far above her knee. With the guys murmuring to each other licking their lips and the girls giving a friendly smile she walked through them behind Marie. Jamie on the other hand hadn't noticed her yet. He had turned to talked to Phil before she entered. He turned when he noticed Phil's sudden lost of interest in their conversation. Their eyes locked immediately he saw her. She didn't think they would be in the same class but they were. A lot of tension built between them. She lost control of her body with the pair not losing eye contact for a second. People may say love at first sight, but it seemed more like flirt at first look. She made her way and sat with Marie. Their seats were right in front of Jamie and Leon's but on the column to their left. She could still feel his gaze on her when she sat down. It felt like being stalked by a serial killer but this time in a good way. There was a frown on Hazel's face when she saw the way Jamie looked at Paige. That was how he looks at her. He hasn't looked at any girl like that in years except her when they are together. Everything showed now that the new girl would be a big problem if she is not put in her place. She could steal him from her now that they are not together anymore. Paige turned to face Jamie who was still staring at her. "Hi" she whispered waving a hand at him with a lovely smile. "Hey" he said simply reciprocating her gesture. "It seems the heavens have answered our prayer by bringing our Prince charming a suitor from above" Leon said with a smile. "What do you mean?" he pretended he didn't know what he was talking about. "I'm talking about Ms lovely over there, she is into you man and you are clearly into her" Phil explained with Cyrus giving him the approval look. "I don't have to tell you that Ninety percent of the girls in the school are into me" he said in defence. "We are well aware of that fact but what is new is that you are also up for the game" Phil continued. "No I'm not" he defended. "Dude, you haven't taken your eyes off her since she entered" he said simply. He knew they were telling the truth but he was too proud to accept it. "Looking at her doesn't prove anything" he said simply. "It doesn't but not being able to keep your eyes off her surely proves you are in love" Cyrus said out of the blue. "What!" he said surprised. He turned to them and they were all staring with a smile. "Seriously?" he said and they all nodded when he turned to them. "My boy is in love!" Leon shouted with everyone turning to them in surprise. "Keep it down man, we could get detention" Jamie said trying to hide his shame. The class were in the dark since they didn't know who exactly Leon was talking about but Hazel knew very well that it was her brother, and she was bound to prevent it from ever happening. The only person she would have her brother falling in love with was herself. Classes were long but this was the first time it wasn't boring for Jamie. He usually goes out but he had a beauty in front of him and he decided to get lost in admiring her than going out. In between lessons they would steal glances at each other and smile. Jamie was still being teased by his friends but he didn't care anymore. Soon classes were over and he went over for training. Paige had just closed from practice with the Mockingbirds were Hazel was giving her a tough time. "Hey new girl can I have a word with you?" Hazel called out to her. "I saw the way you looked at my brother and I think you should back off. I don't want anyone ruining his life and putting him back in sorrows so stay clear off him" she said simply. "I think your brother is old enough to decide for himself, besides I haven't even talked to him. I haven't made any attempts at him so far but if you care to know, I always get what I want, the same way you do" she said then left. This new girl was really crossing her boundaries with Hazel and she thought she needed to be thought a little lesson. Jamie was heading out from practice with his shirts off and placed on his shoulder. Hazel decided to follow Paige and teach her some lesson. Jamie turned his back to show the guys his moves walking backwards. Paige being distracted by Hazel who was calling from behind bumped into Jamie. She nearly fell but there was this gentle arms wrapped around her preventing her from falling. She raised her head and it was him, Jamie. She didn't know how fortunate she was but he was there holding her. What seemed to be an accident soon turned into a staring contest. Hazel walked in and was taken aback with the sight of them being together and him holding her in his arms. She stood frozen to the point without any movement or gesture. Paige stood on her feet as Jamie held her at arms length to examine whether she was okay. "Are you ok?" he asked really concerned. "Yes, thank you" she replied as they stood still looking at each other with tension building between them. She didn't know what else to do but with Hazel standing there all she could think of was pay back. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled his head down and gently kissed him. The wolves cheered them but she stopped and left. With Jamie still standing there surprised when all the others had left. Hazel was in his room when he got home. "What was the stunt between you and Paige?" she asked as he walked in and dropped his bag. "All I get these days are only goodnight kisses and you go round kissing other girls even in front of me" she continued. He didn't say a word. He just moved to his bed and sat down looking at her. "I saw the way you looked at her, how you held her in your arms with passion, that was supposed to be for only us. And when she kissed you, I could see it in your eyes that you really enjoyed it" she said angrily. "There is nothing between us and if you can't trust me then maybe we should end everything between us" he said simply. She couldn't believe he said that. "No! I'm never going to end anything between us. Set your thoughts straight and we will be fine" she said then left. He simply lay on the bed staring at the ceiling hoping everything will be ok.
