[3rd POV]
"They're late" Haley said blandly, as Billie nodded along with her, glancing at the time. They were around fifteen minutes late or so, and it was beginning to make Haley annoyed.
If there was one thing she really hated, it was not getting her time respected. Billie was the same, but not on the same level.
"Yeah I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and am going to assume that traffic is really bad like it usually is at this time of the day" Billie replied, as it was getting close to lunch time, and that was usually when traffic started to pic up for lunch time rush.
But it was also LA, and it was honestly awful to get around pretty much constantly. Traffic was always dogshit there. It was the reason why Billie and Haley had to leave like twenty minutes earlier than you would normally leave for that same amount of travel in another city.
Because the traffic was just miserable.
But hey, it was still better than New York. Billie had never been there, but she had heard enough to know that it was better to just not even bother than try to drive. She would be traveling there eventually, and even when she did go there, she planned on just using the train for most of her traveling. That or walking.
"It's either that or one of the two is causing a fuss" Haley responded to her. She imagined that if anyone of the two would cause some issues regarding getting there on time, it would be Kendall. Kylie would be the more excited one, most likely.
"Nah, it wouldn't be the kids. It would be Kris that would cause the problems, since I am pretty sure she's the one bringing them here. I imagine that if we have problems with our little teaching session, it'll be her causing that as well" Billie replied with a shake of her head.
"Is she really that bad?" Haley asked, not knowing much of anything about Kris Jenner.
She knew more about the kids since she had actually seen them on social media a bit, and had heard about them. But beyond that she didn't know much. She hadn't even watched their show all that much either.
"She's notorious for being awful to work with. Like, really bad. She's the primary reason why a ton of the deals they try to get through, fall through. Because she is too set in her ways and doesn't come to a compromise when it is necessary" Billie replied, before continuing some more.
"She is also incredibly controlling of her kids, and handles way too much. So that they don't actually know much of what is going on in the background side of things, meaning that they cannot do much on their own without her overlooking it" Billie explained to her girlfriend, who frowned.
"That sounds like a recipe for disaster in the future. Like, wouldn't a falling out be almost guaranteed at that point?" Haley asked, looking genuinely confused as hell. Like how was their family even functioning if she was doing that?
"Probably. But it would only happen once they're all adults. If anyone's going to have a falling out with her it'll be her son Rob, since from what little I know about his relationship with the family, he's not really treated the best by them" Billie said with a shrug.
She remembered from her past life that Rob had been the one that was most secretive in the family. While also being the saddest member due to the things he had to deal with. He was not really a good person or anything of course, but he was also the one that was treated the worst in the family.
From being brutally bullied for his weight gain, to being called a failure for not being as popular or as famous as his siblings. To even things like him not getting a career and instead having his own business.
He was kind of the "Black Sheep" of the family, since he was the only boy. The girls could sell "themselves" a bit more. As in their fashion, their makeup, their clothes, stuff like that. He couldn't really do that.
So he was kind of ignored by Kris, which was pretty messed up. And was a huge part of why he had started to go down hill as he began to get older.
The two continued to talk a bit more about the Kardashian family, before eventually the door opened as the front desk worker entered.
"They're here, ma'am" The woman said to Billie, who smiled and nodded. The two got to their feet and began to head out of the room, and towards the entrance to the building, where they could clearly see Kris, Kendall, and Kylie waiting.

The three of them were standing there. With the two kids practically buzzing where they stood, especially once they noticed them walking closer. She could hear both of them squeal and whisper to their mother, who was embarrassingly trying to get them calm. As well as trying to keep a straight face.
"You must be Kris, right? And this is Kylie and Kendall?" Billie asked, as she reached her hand out, which Kris shook.
"That's right" Kris said, before giving her daughters each a look.
"Hi, I'm Kylie! And it's uh, it's really nice to meet you ma'am!" Kylie said, rapidly shaking her hand, barely able to hide her excitement. Billie noticed that she was shaking Haley's hand even harder, making it clear to her who she was the fan of.
"It's nice to meet you, Miss Eilish" Kendall said, talking a bit more maturely. She was acting though, as Billie could see her trying to fight off her own urge to freak out. She shook her hand similar to how Kylie had with Haley.
"You know you don't have to hide that you are excited, right? Your mom told us how much you like our music" Haley said, with amusement on her face as the two kids looked at one another, and then at each of them, and promptly stopped hiding their excitement.
Kris just sighed in the background, knowing it was going to take a while to get them to calm down a bit. As once they got excited about something, they stayed excited for a while.
All the while Billie watched their faces change into their real excitement, and she had only one thought on her mind.
'Maybe this won't be so bad afterall'
