[3rd POV]
Hearing the four words echo throughout the concert area, gasps ripped through the crowd as their eyes widened.
"Oh my GOD! It's happening!" Cam squealed loudly, realizing who was beyond that curtain. Who was about to start singing to them all in her first public concert, the biggest singer on the planet.

As she began to sing, the crowd began to loudly cheer, the curtain that covered her form shadowing her, as flame like shadows surrounded her, making for quite the incredible visual for the crowd.
"Oh my god she sounds amazing even in person!" Mitchell said in awe, as the crowd all heard the voice of Billie Eilish rippling throughout the area. While Haley was just smiling on the stage, swaying along with the voice of the woman.
"All the good girls go to hell
'Cause even God herself has enemies
And once the water starts to rise
And heaven's out of sight
She'll want the devil on her team"
"So what, this woman is the one that Haley had made music with?" Claire asked, listening to the music. She had to admit that it was pretty catchy, even if she wasn't entirely sure about the lyrics and her relations to Haley.
"Yep! She made Lovely with Haley, a great song. Pretty romantic too" Cam responded to a nod, swaying along with the music as others in the crowd were listening, all having their own reactions.
"Whoa, I didn't think she'd sound nearly this good in person" One of the audience members said, a young woman with a smile on her face as she was happy with the experience she had paid for.
"I hope she actually shows her face! Because HD is already beautiful, so surely Billie will be too!" Another younger teen said, there with her mother as she hoped to see Billie's face for the first time like everyone else.
"I don't see the appeal" Jay said bluntly. Haley's music was one thing, she was his granddaughter, her music was much more...well, pop. While Billie's was unique and some would even consider it to be odd at times.
"You guys have no taste in music" Cam said with a disappointed shake of his head.
"Oh don't get on them like that. You have to admit that her music can be a bit to get used to, some of it is...dark and even brutal at times. But it is also beautiful, emotional and tragic too. Trust me, once she starts singing her really good songs you'll start to get into it" Mitchell responded, knowing that there were better songs that she had made, at least ones that his dad might like.
"Personally I like Haley's music more, but hers is good too" Phil said, still trying to get over the fact that his daughter was a pop star. While also getting over the fact that the reason why she wasn't asking for money is because she was probably making more money than any of them at this point.
Millions at least.
As the song began to come to an end, the crowd grew silent in anticipation for what was next, as they heard the low chuckle of Billie, before she began to sing once again.

Listening to the song, all Billie fans knew it was "You Should See me in a crown" one of her better songs that was quite loved by those that wanted to feel badass. And boy did they think that the outline of Billie was badass when she sang this, moving around the stage masterfully, and sitting on the outline of what looked to be a throne.
They all began to take deep breaths as she got to the "Peak" where the drop would happen and the beat would really change. And once it got to the peak, Haley on the stage grinned widely, knowing what was about to occur, as the beat dropped, and the curtain did with it.
"You should see me in a crown" Billie's voice echoed as pictures were snapped instantly, and social media began to blow up with pictures of her for the first time.
And the reactions of the crowd were...well, about what you'd expect.
"Oh...oh wow she's hot" One of the crowd members said, blushing slightly at the smirk that Billie wore when she saw the reactions she was causing. She was pretty sure she was going to be the gay awakening for a lot of women in the crowd, and she did not feel bad at all.
Cause the reactions it was causing were absolutely hilarious.
"Wow she's gorgeous!" Cam said to his boyfriend, wide eyed as that was not how he expected Billie to look, but he had to admit that she wore the baggy clothes perfectly, fitting her well.
"Oh she's young too! She can't be that much older than Haley!" Mitchell said, as Billie's age had never been confirmed, so people were pretty certain that she was older than what was stated. But that seemingly was being proven wrong as Billie sand,
And as the song began to come to an end, the crowd wondered what she would sing next, and that answer came moments later, as the sounds of piano and violin began to echo.
"Oooh here it is! Their duet!" Cam exclaimed, excited to hear Lovely in person.

The sounds of Billie's voice began, while Haley's voice soon began to echo with her, their forms dancing around one another. Closely, but not enough to touch as the crowd began to listen to what was basically a sort of love song, watching as the two began to dance and their voices began to perfectly match with one another.
"Damn romantic of them" Jay said, admitting that this song was way better than the other ones. Although the sight of Haley and her so close made him a bit skeptical about their relationship. And he wasn't the only one as Cam and Mitchell both looked at each other.
"You don't think..." "That the rumors were true? I...don't know, but it's starting to look like it" Mitchell finished his boyfriends words, remembering the rumors that Billie was actually in a relationship with HD.
Which would make her the largest gay artist on the planet, and one of the only ones at this time, at least one of the only ones that was largely active and at a younger age.
This girl was someone who could make a difference if she truly was gay.
But it would also mean that Haley was.
And they weren't the only ones who were noticing the two.
"Wait...do you guys think that the rumors were true? That Billie might be lesbian?" One of the crowd members asked when she noticed how close they were.
"Oh definitely. They totally give off gay vibes, and my gaydar has never failed me" One of the members of what seemed to be her friend group said, this being a man who was standing close to his boyfriend.
"Hopefully that doesn't cause the homophobic bullshit to flood in" His boyfriend said, already knowing how a lot of people will react.
This was before gay marriage was legalized in California and most other states. And there was still rampant homophobia in this time, at least in comparison to the time that Billie came from where it was far more accepted.
"I doubt it, she's always giving off the vibe. It was kind of obvious to be honest" The last member of the group said, this being a short woman and the only straight person in their friend group.
While the crowd was reacting to the fact that the two were definitely...something, Claire was still oblivious to it all. Either too blind to see, or not wanting to admit that her daughter might be gay.
She obviously wasn't homophobic or anything - with her brother and her acceptance of that - but the idea that Haley, the boy loving Haley that dated (only dated, never more than that) a lot of boys over the years was in love with a girl...was strange to her.
So she didn't even believe it. While Phil was...just swaying to the music, wondering if he could use it for a date or something in the future.
The guy was kind of an idiot, but he was a lovable kind idiot that Billie knew would ALWAYS support Haley. Alex...well not so much, but she'd help out the kiddo later on, as she felt bad for Haley's little sister.
Either way, the song soon came to an end, and so too did the concert.
And with it, was the departure of Billie and Haley to...somewhere, and the singular thought on Claire's mind as she ran out of the concert grounds to follow her daughter's car, as her family had to run behind her. And that one thought was...
'Time to find out what the hell that girl has been up to!'

Still working on the lyrics and songs thing, as I am trying to improve. Now showing more reactions of the crowd and such.
Billie does some singing, reveals her face, and basically confirms to most of the crowd that her and "HD" have something going on. Which makes her the largest gay singer on the planet.
Which will obviously have some interesting effects in coming chapters, as this is before gay marriage was legalized and all that. And just going to say this now, none of my fanfics will EVER get super political or anything.
Mostly because I don't like talking about that shit, as it makes people miserable and causes nothing but arguments. But in this case, it's kind of needed as Billie will obviously have a lot of influence in the changes that can be brought thanks to her worldwide popularity.
The only times politics will ever be involved in my fanfics is if it's inherently a part of the universe that I am writing on (like Game of Thrones, shows/movies based around war, and similar things).
