Chapter 6 - Open Up, Oolong!

Not far from the village, Oolong's transformation finally ran out.

He shrank back into his true form—a small pig—and zigzagged frantically toward home.

Before long, his mansion came into view. Only then did he stop and look back.

Seeing that no one was chasing him, he let out a long, shaky breath.

"Whew… thank goodness I ran fast.

This poor little pig almost got beaten to death…"

After calming himself, Oolong went inside.

His home was a grand villa.

The moment he stepped in, he saw several girls living there.

Some were doing their makeup, some were enjoying snacks, others were doing yoga—every one of them looking utterly at ease.

One girl greeted him while applying lipstick.

"Oolong, you're back."

Having just escaped death, Oolong forced himself to answer calmly.

"Y-Yes. I'm back."

The girl didn't notice anything strange and kept doing her makeup.

Just as Oolong was about to go rest, a voice stopped him.

"Oolong, wait a second. I'm almost out of cosmetics. Buy me some when you go out."

"Okay… okay."

Another girl added, "And we're almost out of fruit too. Buy more. I like durians and cherries.

Oh—and bring back lots of milk tea."

"Got it. I'll buy them next time I go out…"

Then two more girls chimed in.

"Oolong, it's summer now. We need new clothes.

I'm out of money—give me another million."

Oolong twitched.

"A… a million? That much?!"

Seeing his reaction, the girl's face darkened.

"What's with that look, Oolong?"

"Could you maybe try to save a little? You've already spent five million this month…"

The girl sipping milk tea slammed her cup down.

"Oolong, are you complaining that we spend too much?

We're girls! What's wrong with spending money on girls, huh?"

The girl doing yoga stood over him with her hands on her hips.

"If you don't like it, we'll leave right now—and tell the villagers you're completely useless.

After all the money you've extorted and robbed from them all these years,

they'd come and beat you to death for sure!"

The pressure was overwhelming.

Oolong panicked. "N-No, I didn't mean that!

Of course it's fine. Girls deserve to spend money.

I-I'll go make more right now…"

"Hmph. That's more like it."

When Oolong still didn't move, one girl raised an eyebrow.

"Didn't you say you were going to earn money? What are you standing there for?

Hurry up and go!"

Oolong jolted and hurried out of the house, completely deflated.

The moment he stepped outside, he saw a large group of villagers marching toward his home.

At the front was none other than the kid who had almost beaten him to death.

Oolong's hair stood on end.

"Oh no… how did they find this place?!"

He ran back inside and slammed the door shut, locking it tight.

The girls looked at him curiously.

"Oolong, why are you back?"

"Weren't you going out to make money?"

"And why did you lock the door?"

Leaning against it, sweat pouring down his face, Oolong stammered,

"S-Something's wrong.

There's a whole crowd of villagers outside…"

"What?"

Before the girls could react, the door was pounded violently.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Voices roared from outside.

"Open up, Oolong!"

"If you don't want to die, hand over the girls you kidnapped!"

"You think this lousy door can stop us?"

"Open it now, or we'll smash it down!"

One of the girls muttered, "That voice… sounds like my dad.

Maybe we should open the door…"

Just then, a loud voice rang out.

"Move aside—I'll break the door down!"

Oolong's heart clenched. He recognized that voice—it was Son Goku's.

Knowing one blow from that staff could flatten his house, Oolong screamed,

"Mercy! I'm opening it!"

The door swung open, and the villagers poured in.

"Shisi, Daddy's here!"

"Lotus, Mommy's come to get you!"

"Lily, don't be scared—Daddy's here!"

But the girls showed no desire to leave.

"Just leave us here."

"Yeah, it's way better than farming."

The parents were stunned.

Only then did Oolong shuffle forward miserably.

"I'm really sorry for kidnapping your daughters…

But I never touched them. Not even once.

I just wanted a gentle, obedient girl…

They're all way too extravagant.

Please take them back…"

Seeing his true form, the villagers were speechless.

"So Oolong really is just a little pig…"

"And he fooled us for all these years…"

Before long, Bulma obtained the fifth Dragon Ball.

With that done, she and Goku didn't linger. After restocking their supplies, they set off again.

The route to the next Dragon Ball required traveling by water,

but Bulma had a speedboat in her capsules.

She drove it with Goku aboard, heading toward their next destination.

Laughing as she steered, Bulma said, "Goku, you were amazing back there.

That one swing even blasted the bricks apart.

If that had hit a person, they'd be mush.

Even so, I bet that strike will haunt Oolong for the rest of his life."

Goku smiled. "I knew he wasn't really a monster—just someone who could transform.

I never meant to kill him."

Bulma blinked in surprise. "You could tell that? That's incredible.

When I saw how huge he was, I was terrified.

Still, his transformation ability is pretty useful. Why didn't you bring him along?"

Goku laughed. "That guy? Other than transforming, he's useless.

Taking him would just be wasting food."

"Fair enough."

Bulma glanced over at Goku, a teasing smile on her lips.

"Those girls all liked you, you know. They were even offering to marry you.

Why didn't you say yes?"

Goku shook his head quickly. "Don't joke around, Bulma.

I don't like girls like that."

"Oh? You don't like that kind of girl?"

A hopeful glimmer appeared in Bulma's eyes.

"Then what do you think of me?"
