It took two days for Vinegario to come to the mansion. He did not want to come because of how poorly Berryanna treated him after he helped her find the cause of her nosebleeds and migraines. After that, she simply threw him out of the carriage.
The moment he arrived, he went straight to her office as usual and opened the door without knocking. The door creaked.
To his surprise, his worst nightmare was present, standing in front of Berryanna.
Greyhouse Sr turned the moment Vinegario entered.
Vinegario stood still. He never would have thought that he was back at the mansion. The air felt tight in his lungs.
"Have you forgotten your manners, boy?" Greyhouse said.
"Apologies. I did not plan to use my manners today," Vinegario said, avoiding eye contact with him.
