After their introduction to their instructor, Ayumu Ten, the first-years were shown to their respective rooms in the dormitory.
"Mina, you will be staying in dorm room 2B; Akira, you will be staying in dorm room 1A; and Yami, you've been designated to dorm room 2A." Ayumu pauses for a brief moment, then continues. "Keiko, your clan has paid for you to stay in a much larger dorm, room 1C."
The students are given about an hour to set up their rooms as they'd like, then the first-years are called down to the training grounds. Waiting at the training yard is a tall woman with bright blonde hair, wearing a fancy tailored uniform.
Keiko was the first to arrive, having used an application of Limitless Blue to instantly warp from his dorm room to the training grounds. Mina followed soon after, descending gracefully atop a bird formed from folded paper, an elegant display of her cursed technique, Paper Manipulation. Yami Shotaro arrived moments later, breath slightly unsteady from sprinting all the way from his dorm as fast as his legs could carry him. And, as expected, Akari was the last to show up, his sweat-soaked clothes and labored breathing making it painfully obvious that he had spent his time weight lifting rather than decorating his room.
"Hello first-year students! I am the current principal at Tokyo Jujutsu High, and will be for the foreseeable future." She eyed the students up and down, inspecting their faces before continuing. "Before we get started, I have one question for all of you; Why do you want to be Jujutsu Sorcerers?"
Akari crosses his arms, veins standing out as he cracked his neck. "Strength," he said bluntly. "If curses exist, then someone strong has to crush them. Might as well be me."
Keiko didn't even hesitate. He pushed his sunglasses up slightly, a cocky grin forming on his face."Because I'm good at it," he said casually. "And someone's gotta keep the Gojo name on top one way or another. Besides, being the strongest sounds fun."
Mina let out a small scoff, resting her weight on one hip. "Girl these curses are nasty, I'd rather such disgusting things not exist if I'm able to stop them." she said, rolling her eyes. "Also, it pays well, its just simple."
Yami Shotaro hesitated, scratching the back of his head before speaking. "I don't really have some big reason," he admitted. "But if people are getting hurt by curses, and I can help stop that… then I think that's reason enough."
Principal Cho sighed. "The only response I liked was Yami's; the other three of you are crooked." She adjusts her gloves.
Ayumu steps forward towards the first-years. "Students, here are your ID cards, please look over them to see if anything is incorrect." He passes out the students their ID cards.

Ayumu continued after handing out the IDs. "Yami and Akari will be paired up for their first mission, and Mina and Keiko will be paired up for their first mission."
Laughing loudly, Akari was the first to speak. "Haha, nice!" He slaps Yami on the back before continuing. "I bet we'll crush our mission!"
Nervously running his hand through his hair, Yami responds. "Yeah.. I think we'll do good together."
Mina looks up at Keiko, who is cockily grinning. "If you hold me back on our mission, I'll kill you, Mr. high-and-mighty clan heir."
Keiko smirks downward at Mina and dramatically gasps. "Y-you'll kill me if I hold you back? I'm so scared of you, Mrs. Grade 3!" He falls backward dramatically, before standing back up.
"That's enough students; get to know your teammate before your missions. You are dismissed." Ayumu walks away with Principal Cho.
