Ignoring the working elevator, Chalce ran down the stairs to use up the adrenaline in his body.
With heavy breaths he walked through the first floor heading straight for the exit, many people were running around going about their business, it really looked like a normal working company, no one even spared him a glance.
The automatic doors opened, and in front of the building was a car turned on and obviously waiting, but Chalce couldn't bring himself to care he walked around it and crossed the road.
Beep beep the sound of the car horn sounded, the glasses rolled down then one of the alpha's Chalce encountered earlier called out to him "hey kid, get in the car, I'm dropping you off!"
"Huh?! You wanna kidnap me again? I'm not falling for it, go away!" Chalce hastened his pace but the car just trailed behind him, at some point people began to give strange looks, in frustration he turned around and yelled "go away!"
This time the alpha got down from the car and walked up to him, tall, dressed in all black and looking very intimidating, Chalce almost ran off, but it was broad daylight, nothing could truly happen, so the omega stood his ground attempting to look immovable despite the height difference.
"Listen kid, the boss gave me orders to drop you off at school, she wants you to get there safely, so you have two options, you continue walking while I trail behind you, or you willingly get in and we can go our separate ways faster."
The argument in Chalce's mouth dried up, this was getting tiring "fine" he grumbled and begrudgingly got into the vehicle.
The drive back to the school was quiet, both parties had no desire to strike up a conversation.
Chalce spent the time lost in thought, reflecting on what happened in the last few hours didn't make him feel any better, the memory of his first kiss being stolen by that alpha tattooed itself into his mind, playing over and over again like a broken record.
"We're here."
The omega nearly jumped out of his skin at the sudden announcement "the school gate is over there you can leave" the alpha added.
Chalce quickly got out of the car, and turned to leave, after saying an awkward thank you, running off with a very flustered expression.
With only twenty minutes before classes start he sprinted all the way to his dorms.
"Where have you been? I called and you didn't pick up. Honestly, if you're gonna stay out all night at least send a text" Chalce's roomate opened the door with a scolding.
Koko was a sassy dark skinned omega, she's been roommates with Chalce for over a year and the two got along pretty well, despite being pissed she still let inside "I'm really sorry, alot happened last night, and I lost track of time."
"It's cool, as long as your okay" her gaze remained scrutinizing but he had no plans to fill her in, rushing to the bathroom to get ready was his priority.
Ten minutes later Chalce was running out of the bathroom and getting dressed, without enough time to fully blow dry his hair he was out the door like an unstable hurricane, leaving Koko thoroughly amused.
The lecture hall was already full and most of the seats taken, luckily Richmon reserved a space for him in front.
"What's up with you today? You're usually at least twenty minutes early to class" Richmon's gaze was even more scrutinizing than Koko's, he adjusted his glasses multiple times like he wasn't sure what he was seeing.
"It's nothing I'm fine, things just got out of hand" he tried to sound normal but the awkwardness was persistent.
"Do you have a partner?"
Chalce nearly fell off his seat, caught off guard by Richmon's question.
"What would make you think that? I'm as single as can be..."
"Interesting, so you hooked up with someone?"
"What's with these questions?"
"I'm just trying to figure out where that hickey is from, you also smell kinda... Off, not in the heat way, but in the... I got touched way."
"I..." One thing Chalce and Cherry knew was that lying to Richmon was impossible, his IQ was too high for that, with a heavy sigh the blue haired omega told his friend about the alpha, leaving out the kidnapping and dept as family issues.
"So, is she your type? If so then why not make advances towards her."
"I can't just do that, we met because of my dad's issues, it's wrong."
Richmon stared blankly at his friend "as long as you're not family there's nothing wrong with making advances towards an alpha you're interested in, that's how this whole world works."
"I doubt she'd even look at me."
"That hickey says otherwise" Richmon pointed out.
Chalce pulled his collar higher "she's so perfect, and I'm not, you know the kind of omega I am, just drop it."
"But Chalce-"
"Drop it, please."
The lecturer entered the hall before Richmon could say anything else, so he swallowed his opinions and turned to pay attention.
A few hours later, the two young men made their way to the cafeteria, it was lunch time and the place was filled with many tables hosting different friend groups.
"Guys over here!" Cherry's enthusiastic voice called out, she had reserved a table for them and waited impatiently "what took you guys so long? I've been waiting here forever" She complained.
"Sorry, class held us up" Chalce apologised, but Richmon just reached out and snatched away her phone.
"What was that for?!" She yelled.
"I told you to stop looking up scent sweeteners, they'll do you no good" his tone was to reprimand, but Cherry pouted looking wronged "you know I only do it because my scent is a bit sour, how do you expect me to attract an alpha."
No matter what she said Richmon frowned and continued to play keep away with the device while Chalce laughed at them.
Quiet soon greeted their table when they noticed a group of omegas were walking towards them, hostility thickened pheromones in the air and everyone was already getting defensive.
"Hey guys" Rose's sickeningly sweet voice cut through.
Cherry openly snarled at her cousin, this wasn't new, their rivalry went way back to a time most people didn't know about.
"You know using pheromone sweeteners are bad for your health cousin, you should really listen to Richmond" Rose said.
"His name is Richmon, if you don't need anything then take your crew and fuck off" Cherry snarled.
"My my cousin, you see this hostile attitude is why you're still single."
"You bitch!" Richmon quickly had to hold Cherry back, he also looked annoyed but couldn't let the situation escalate.
"Don't worry cousin, I'm not here to talk to you, I have something to talk about with your friend, Chalce"
Chalce visibly shrunk "me?"
All the attention was focused on him, the prying eyes made him shift uncomfortably in his seat "what did I do?" He asked.
Rose looked burdened, as if someone forced her to be here "normally I would let this offence slide, but my friends convinced me to face it head on, Chalce I know you're a good omega, and until marriage and marking every alpha is fair game, but... Could you please stop trying to seduce my boyfriend."
"What?!"
