Chapter 1 - Ancient Demons

Kuro no Sekai

A world built on sacrifice and false order.

A hero who chose annihilation over hypocrisy.

This is the beginning of the fall of Ash Zen—

and the birth of a world that may not deserve salvation.

Chapter 1: Ancient Demons

A Future That Must Not Exist

Steel screamed as two blades collided, sparks tearing through the fractured air.

The battlefield was already ruined—stone split, earth scarred—but neither man stepped back.

Alain stood firm, blood trailing down his arm, dripping into the cracks beneath his feet. His grip trembled, not from pain, but from what stood before him.

"Ash…"

His voice wavered.

"Why are you doing all this?"

Ash took a single step forward.

The air bent.

Not figuratively—physically. As if the world itself recoiled from his presence.

"Listen carefully," Ash said, his voice calm, controlled… final.

"This is not a threat.

This is a verdict."

He raised his blade just enough for the edge to catch the dim light.

"I was born under your sky.

I bled in your wars.

I protected your cities, your children, your gods.

And when I asked for nothing—

you took everything."

Alain clenched his teeth, forcing his sword higher.

"You call this world order," Ash said.

"I call it a machine that feeds on sacrifice.

Heroes die quietly.

The guilty live comfortably.

And fate is used as an excuse by cowards who refuse to change."

The wind died.

Ash's eyes darkened—not with rage, but with certainty.

"I waited.

I obeyed.

I believed."

His voice dropped.

"And that belief killed the one thing that made this world worth saving."

He pointed his sword forward.

"So understand this clearly—

I do not seek revenge.

I do not seek a throne.

I seek an ending."

The ground trembled beneath them.

"With the Echo of Creation, I will tear down this rotten cycle.

Kings. Gods. Zenin. Demons—

all of you will stand equal before destruction."

Ash exhaled slowly, as if releasing the last restraint within him.

"Curse my name.

Call me evil.

History always does.

But when silence finally replaces your endless screams—

remember this."

Their swords met again, the impact echoing like judgment.

"I chose to become the villain…

so the world could be reborn without one."

Guardian Arc

It was a full moon night.

The sky stood silent.

The air hung heavy—too calm, too still, as if the world itself was holding its breath.

At the gates of Zenin City, a shadow emerged.

Then another.

Then four.

Diablo, one of the Ancient Demons, stood tall, his presence swallowing the moonlight. Darkness clung to him unnaturally, as if even the night knew its master.

Beside him stood his siblings—Darka, Doumar, and Ryu.

Diablo looked upon the city walls with open disinterest.

"So this is where Khronos is kept?"

A crooked smile formed.

"How lame."

Deep within the palace training grounds—

Steel rang as blades crossed.

Tomioka Zeki, the Fourth Zenin, moved calmly as he sparred against his disciples: Hima Saeed, Kaizen Ryujin, and Rein Shizugawa.

Hima staggered back, then dropped to one knee, breath ragged.

"That's enough for today," she said, bowing before stepping aside.

Kaizen and Rein remained.

Their auras sharpened.

"Impressive," Tomioka said, eyes steady. "You two have grown stronger."

Kaizen moved first.

Wind Style.

The blade howled through the air. Tomioka shifted aside—barely.

Rein followed instantly.

Water Style.

The strike landed.

Tomioka slid back across the stone, then countered in one seamless motion. His sword weaved—

Storm Style.

The impact blasted both disciples backward.

"That's enough for today," Tomioka said.

"No…" Rein growled, forcing himself up. "I can still fight."

"Don't be absurd," Kaizen snapped. "What will you gain in just one night, idiot?"

Rein's eyes flared.

"What did you just say?"

Tomioka turned toward the palace, a faint smile on his face—

Then—

The air shifted.

A dark, suffocating pressure flooded the grounds.

Not violent.

Not chaotic.

Absolute.

Tomioka stopped.

"…This aura," he muttered. "It's overwhelming."

His expression hardened.

"What's going on?"

At the palace gates—

Diablo raised his hand.

"Darka. Doumar."

His voice carried effortlessly through the night.

"Bring me Khronos."

—End of Chapter 1—

The Ancient Demons had arrived.

And the first lie of the Zenin world was about to be exposed.

Kuro no Sekai is a dark fantasy epic set in a world protected by guardians and ruled by false order.

When the Ancient Demons return in search of a forbidden existence known as Khronos, the balance of the world begins to fracture. Behind the walls of Zenin City, disciples train—unaware that history is about to repeat itself.

The story opens with a future where Ash Zen, once a hero, stands against gods, demons, and the very system he was born to protect. He does not seek revenge or power—only an ending to a cycle built on sacrifice.

This is not a story about saving the world.

It is a story about questioning whether the world deserves salvation.
