Chapter 70 - Chapter 70

Lung was not happy with that as he brought his other arm up and at me. Both of my own arms whipped out as I then threw myself into a spin, the metal blades along my Air Gears shredding the man's chest as I kicked myself away from his location. With a few solid kicks of my feet, I was able to reposition twenty feet away. All across my body, liquid silver flowed as my endo-sym armor formed up around me as a game plan formed in my head.

It was far to soon to take Lung down, but this was the hand that Coil gave me and I had to play it now that it was dealt.

"KIIIIILLLLL UUUUUU" Lung roared before he was back in my personal space, fireball to my face, flash of claws from the right, and all manner of attack vectors all with the aim of killing me.

My leg went down in a hard kick as I flashed stepped from my position in a blaze of fire to reappear ten feet away from Lung. The size difference was really starting to show and bite me in the ass as the monster cape approached fifteen feet with spikes showing on his back. The flames he was using now started to have a white core as their intensity increased.

A quick check of my HUD found that we were close to a run-off at the docks that also worked as a side wall to the street. Lung was ten feet away and gaining on me fast when I went for it. I pulled on the transwarp system of my suit as glowing blue lines appeared around me. The transition came as easy as I breathed. Lung was not ready for the backhand that caught him in the chest and sent him flying off to the west.

I wanted to roar out a phrase of All Hail Megatron, but the weeb inside could wait as I launched myself into the air on my scramjets. The nectrodermis metal that made up my current form sang to my senses as I blasted through the air and followed Lung to the local beach.

Luckily, he had landed on a portion of the beach that Kuviera hadn't even started on yet, I was more than alright with that. Since he was sent flying first, he also landed first and was waiting for me because these jets weren't the silent types. Too bad for Lung, I wasn't an easy mark as I rolled out of the air, sand exploded upwards and outwards as I went into a combat roll underneath his outstretched and flaming arms.

Lung's tail came around to lash at me, but I sent that away with an Ion blast, my other hand came forward with the tips of my finger glowing blue as I unleashed my own version of force lightning on the bastard. It was one thing to read in the books and it was another to see that nothing was working in real-time as the fucker was healing so rapidly it was as if all damage got zeroed the same time he got hit.

Nothing I had initially tried worked, but I had ideas for the others. I would need to get the now twenty-foot-tall bastard near the bay's drop-off point. I played another few seconds of keep away as Lung followed right behind me; huge wafts of steam bellowed upwards as his anger burned brighter and brighter.

So far, I had lost my Ion cannon from one of his swipes, the right side of my unit had massive gashes that were healing slowly, and I was planning bloody vengeance upon Coil for setting this shit into motion. There was no missing them on the buildings watching this fight along with the E88 mooks.

My mind came back to the fight as Lung finally stopped stalling and went for the killing blow as he reached an insane thirty feet in height. The jokes on him, I knew the art of folding clothes with people still inside. The right side swing was deflected as I then stepped past his left, the tail that came around to wrap around my neck was exactly my aim.

With one arm around the endpoint of the tail, the other went for the base, and Lung gave a startling yelp as I dug my metallic fingers into the meat of the tail, along with the bundle of nerves. My center of gravity was shifted, my legs were firm, and then I gave a nasty twist filled with alot of torque. Nothing was to stop us from going over the sheer drop-off and into the bay's deep waters.

We went down and down, I had more than enough air to last me days, but Lung was not so lucky, and he knew it. Lung went for the side cliff, but I released his tail with one hand, grabbed his free hand then kicked off the wall. My scramjets gave a little spurt to put us a nice bit out. By now, Lung was very much slowing down as the waters of the bay did its work.

Already, I could see my plans in effect as my sensors fed me data of his flames dying down. Since I prided myself in being an honest to god asshole, I gave Lung two kidney shots, and one to the stomach for safe measure. This reignited both the flames and his fight, but it also had the added effect of forcing him to eject what little air he was holding onto.

His entire body sputtered as his flames went out, then came back with his rage, but it was already clear that he wasn't going to survive. Lung's body sputtered once more, then all of his flames disappeared. With us both at the bottom of the bay, I made the decision to leave a GPS tracker on the body along with an anchor to lock it down to the bottom of the bay.

After slightly bending my legs, I kicked off hard from the bottom of the bay, my scramjets spun to life and I shot upwards and out into the night sky. It was time to put the ABB to bed, and there would be no Bakuda to stop me.
