The sky was pitch black, heavy with thunder, on the verge of pouring rain.
"Leo reporting in, Dragon."
"Have you reached California yet, Leo?"
"No, sir. Roswald and I are just about to set off."
"What took you so long to make a move?" Dragon sounded annoyed.
"The Supreme summoned me for an urgent meeting."
That bastard Dragon. Always acting like he's the big boss around here. One of these days, you're going to pay for that attitude, you prick.
"Whatever. The mission is to find 'Azrael' and 'Hera.' Don't screw it up."
Keep your trap shut, asshole. I'll do whatever I want.
"Understood, Dragon."
"Don't forget to have fun with your commanders. The rest will trickle in slowly."
"Let 'Project Commander' begin."
"We'll talk later. I have some unsettled business to deal with in England first."
The line went dead instantly.
"That bastard Dragon... I'll show him his place one day," Leo barked, his face twisted in rage.
"So, California is where we're hunting?" a massive shadow in front of Leo rumbled.
"Yeah, Roswald. It's time to see what you can do. Don't disappoint me," Leo chuckled with a psychopathic smile.
I hope I find more hybrids for my collection.
"That won't happen, Leo," Roswald replied, his expression a mix of confusion and horror as he looked at the massive horde behind them.
I hope I find someone strong.
"PUSH THE CARTS, YOU TRASH! AND BRING THAT WOMAN!" Leo bellowed.
Thousands of Minions, Runners, Gigans, Arachnes, Chronius, and even faceless creatures began pushing supply carts loaded with captured hybrids, marching straight toward California.
