Jessica had been pacing herself throughout the battle, but now she was running out of stamina. She felt it in the way each breath was lobored. Every spell she uttered was almost painful to cast now. She had been fighting for nearly half an hour.
Jessica sensed something heading her way, and dove to the side. An explosion burst her eardrums as she rolled down a hill. She grunted in pain as she steadied herself. Wounds were beginning to take their toll. She had had to retract the mana barrier a few minutes into the fight, the mana expenditure was costing too much.
"Die." She yelled, and a ball of fire erupted from the Llrathel that had shot at her. Jessica looked to her left. A wall of similar vehicles was working it's way towards her from the east. They did not have line of sight on her yet, but she knew it was only a matter of time.
"Where the fuck is the air support?" She groaned, holding her side.
She knew she couldn't hold out very much longer.
