Eric decided that Josh and Susan would be going back to base in Mia's vehicle. He originally thought that a team of soldiers would take the prisoners to Hood Hill, but there was an underlying problem.
Who would interrogate them? After Josh was secured in Mia's vehicle, Eric glared icily at Josh. "Do not move or speak. You are being accused of treason, desertion, and war crimes. We will take you back to Fort Hood. What happens next will depend entirely on the information you give us."
After walking back to his vehicle, he noticed blank stares boring holes into the back of his head. He ignored them and turned to Mia. "I need you to stay bac-"
"I know, Eric." She responded, her ears twitching as she refused to look into his eyes. "I don't like it, but I know I have to be the one staying back."
