"Gasp!"
Esther jolted awake, feeling as if she had been zapped by a taser. Her heart was thumping heavily against her throat and she hurriedly took several deep breaths in an attempt to calm herself down.
Nothing seemed to have changed, she didn't feel stronger, and her body remained the way it was. Despite this, Esther couldn't help but feel that something was wrong, but not wrong at the same time, like something was missing all her life, only to be revealed now.
A short moment later, she regained her bearings and turned her attention to her surroundings.
She was still in the void created by Sage Siran, her body as incorporeal as before she had made contact with the black and white prayer beads. Meanwhile, the others were in various states currently.
Alexandrine was already, her expression remaining neutral as always, though a slight tinge of sadness could be seen somewhere in her eyes. She hugged her knees and seemed to zone off into space, thinking about something.
