A few hours ago...
The alarm clock rang and Shallot woke up.
When he saw that it was 9:30 in the morning, he realized that Kakarot and Nappa would arrive on Earth in a few hours.
And what's worse, Kakarot somehow increased his power to an absurd level, and Nappa also increased his power.
"That's impossible! Kakarot's power has been increased 100 times, his current level is close to Frieza in his third form, and Nappa has the same power as Captain Ginyu! This definitely shouldn't be happening! " Shallot said in thought.
Shallot leaves his room and when he opens the door he sees Vegeta and the other Z fighters.
Vegeta cleared his throat and said:
"Can you already feel that Ki? Tell me what Kakarot's level was and how he achieved that power? The others were waiting for you to wake up." Vegeta said.
Shallot looked at the Z fighters and noticed that Chiaotzu was missing, so he asked:
"Is Chiaotzu still on King Kai's planet?" Shallot asked.
Tien then replied:
"He's not going to fight, that's all you need to know." Tien replied.
"Tien is right, this battle won't be like the canonical one, it will be worse." Shallot said in thought.
Vegeta then asked:
"What was Kakarot's power level before you came to Earth?" Vegeta asked.
Shallot then replied:
"He had about 20,000, Nappa had 4,200, something happened in space and now we have to deal with this threat." Shallot replied.
Yamcha was impressed and said:
"This guy... would lose to Chiaotzu." Yamcha said.
Of all of them, only Piccolo was visibly irritated; being there meant accepting that he had been surpassed even by Chiaotzu and seeing that his training was outdated.
And to see that the next enemy was far superior to him.
Shallot saw Piccolo's frustration and knew it was too late now; Gohan's absence in this reality meant Piccolo remained the same as he was in Dragon Ball.
He'll probably try to fight Nappa alone and die; if it weren't for Kami, he wouldn't be revived, and it will be complicated, to say the least, to revive a Piccolo who still wants to conquer Earth.
Piccolo then grunted angrily and shouted:
"I won't be a hindrance!!! I can fight against the Saiyans!!!" Piccolo shouted.
Shallot then said:
"Let's wait for Nappa and Kakarot; when they arrive, we have to be as quick as possible to avoid civilian casualties." Shallot said.
Vegeta, Shallot and the Z fighters leave Capsule Corporation and take flight to a plain with no sign of life.
West City Surroundings
All the Z Fighters, except for Chiaotzu, were there; even Yajirobe was a few kilometers away from reaching the location.
Krilin was off duty; he had managed to speak with his superiors and explained that he needed time off to visit a distant relative. Because he was an efficient police chief in Silver City, he received a week off, as Silver City was the safest city in the Central region thanks to his efforts.
Yamcha already ordered Puar to transform into him.
He had done this a few times before, and it seems Puar also had some potential, not for fighting but for the art of disguise, something that would be very useful; Yamcha has a pet Mystique.
Shallot looked at Yamcha and realized he was nervous, not because of the threat—he could fight the Saiyans on equal terms—but because of something else that was making him nervous.
Shallot then asked:
"What's wrong, Yamcha? Is something wrong?" Shallot asked.
Yamcha then replied:
"My wife is expecting my child and he's due in about a week. I should be by her side, and if things go wrong, tell her I fought to save our child." Yamcha replied.
Yamcha's expression wasn't that of a joker who used to make fun of everything; he had a tense look, staring at someone who was a Dragon Ball meme and whose fateful death at the hands of Saibaman.
This time he will die with some honor.
Kakarot and Nappa are very different now; something happened in space, and that something affected everything that seemed to follow the canonical timeline.
Shallot looked up at the sky and said:
"Now we'll see what has changed in space." Shallot said.
