There are many legends connecting moonstones to werewolves. Since the moonstone is seen as the Moon Goddess herself, werewolves worship them. It is said that wearing a moonstone protects their "human side" during their very first shift. Furthermore, the moonstone helps and protects them through every subsequent transformation period.
Aami Googled more about moonstones and their connection to werewolves to understand it better. After returning home that night and finishing her dinner, she sat on the balcony for a long time. She finally realized just how important the moonstone is to werewolves. Because of this, Aami sat staring at the photo she had taken for a while and then zoomed in on the next set of photos.

An Alpha is a pack leader—the most powerful and dangerous category. They are much more aggressive than other wolves. Even when they have to shift from human form to wolf form, they possess complete control compared to others.
When it comes to their mates, Alphas prioritize them above everyone else. They are over-possessive of their partners. Their mate is both their greatest strength and their greatest weakness. In them, lust and love exist at their absolute peak...They have an inherent ability to maintain the freshness and beauty of their bond forever. If they didn't, their relationships wouldn't remain so intense. Generally, werewolves are beings who deeply desire to spend all their time with their mates.
The second rank is the Beta. They serve as advisors to the Alphas and are primarily responsible for maintaining the discipline of a pack.

Their strength, intelligence, physical power, and sensory abilities are remarkably high. It is said that they reach maturity at the age of 16, which is when their first shift typically occurs. While some sources mention age 18 instead of 16, in most cases, they live as humans until that age and then transform into werewolves at 16.
Once the shift has occurred, they find their mate. If the mates have reached maturity, the marking and mating take place. If not, they wait until they shift at age 16. Finding a mate within their own pack is very easy. In very rare cases, they might wander for many years searching for a mate. Even if it takes until death, they never turn back from the search.
This is because "mates" are considered the other half of one's own soul; they are what brings "completeness" to a werewolf. Werewolves place immense importance on this concept. They recognize their mate not just through touch, but through direct eye contact.
The moment they first meet their mate, both can recognize each other equally. This is a matter of great significance. Their hearts race, and they are overcome by emotions they have never felt before.
