Chapter 83 - Epilogue - Two Years Later.

‎The palace no longer carried the weight of sorrow.

‎The once heavy halls of the Owusu kingdom had returned to life again. Music echoed freely through the courtyards. Laughter moved through the gardens. Peace had finally settled over the land after years of pain, secrets, blood, and judgment.

‎King Kwabena Owusu ruled differently from the kings before him.

‎He listened before speaking. He respected the elders. He honored the gods. And most importantly, he protected the people with everything in him.

‎The villagers loved him deeply.

‎Former King Owusu now lived quietly in a smaller royal residence beside the eastern palace gardens. Age had softened him greatly. Though the pain of the past never fully left his eyes, peace had found him at last through the children he almost lost.

‎And every evening— Without fail— He visited the memorial built for Queen Owusu and Afia Serwaa.

‎Two women. Two mothers. Two painful histories forever tied together by blood, mistakes, sacrifice, and fate.

‎Fresh flowers always rested there.

‎That evening, the palace was unusually lively. Servants moved around excitedly while guards smiled among themselves. Because everyone was waiting for one person.

‎Akosua.

‎Or as the kingdom now called her— Queen Akosua Agyeman.

‎The large palace doors opened shortly after sunset.

‎Akosua stepped inside slowly, elegance following naturally behind her. Marriage, motherhood, and peace had only made her more beautiful. Beside her stood Kofi, still protective, still deeply in love with her exactly the way he had been from the beginning.

‎And in Akosua's arms— One of the twins.

‎The second little girl slept peacefully against Kofi's chest.

‎The entire palace burst into smiles immediately.

‎Former King Owusu stood up so quickly his walking staff nearly fell. "My daughters have arrived!" he announced emotionally.

‎Akosua laughed softly. The twins immediately stretched their tiny hands toward him.

‎His eyes filled instantly.

‎He carried them carefully like the most precious gift heaven had ever given him. And perhaps they were.

‎One child was named Afia Serwaa. The other— Owusu.

‎Not to remember pain. But to remember survival.

‎Adjoa arrived shortly after with her husband, smiling warmly as she entered the palace carrying gifts. Time had healed her slowly too. She now ran one of the biggest businesses connected to Agyeman Group and had become one of the most respected women in the kingdom.

‎And despite everything the past had done— She never lost Akosua .Never again.

‎The sisters embraced warmly the moment they saw each other.

‎Nearby, Kwabena watched them with a smile. "You two still cry every time you meet," he teased lightly.

‎Akosua laughed through tears. "Because we fought too hard to remain together."

‎The palace became louder as the night deepened. Food. Music. Family. Peace.

‎The very things that once seemed impossible.

‎Later that night, after everyone had gone inside, Akosua stepped quietly toward the memorial garden alone.

‎The moonlight rested softly against the statues of Queen Owusu and Afia Serwaa.

‎She stood there silently for a long moment.

‎Then finally smiled.

‎"We made it," she whispered softly.

‎The wind moved gently through the trees.

‎And somewhere deep within the palace walls— For the first time in many years— The kingdom truly slept in peace.

‎THE END .
