Alex turned turned to look at the two men behind and smiled.
"Alright guys. It was great knowing ya! If I ever feel like it, I will definitely come to visit!"
Alex said, making both Preganos and Deborah node. Deborah extended his hand with a soft smile.
"It was nice meeting you too Alex. Although I really wish to stay until you leave, but there are works pending and requires my presence. But as a parting gift, I will give you this."
Deborah said as a silver cube appeared on his hand and it expanded into a blue cube with silver corners. He took out a relatively small box.
"What are these?"
Alex asked. Confused and overwhelmed. One the the few moments that overwhelms him. Taking gifts from others and not knowing how to respond.
"These are ShapeShipting Clothes. Your clothes get destroyed pretty often. They are excellent comfort and durability. Although not on the quality mayor have given... but I hope it is a fitting gift."
Alex stared at Deborah's face then smiled slightly.
"Thanks man. I really appreciate it."
Deborah nodded. He took out his badge, pit it on his chest and armour started to appear over his body.
"Then... we shall see each other again if fate allows us."
Deborah said and Alex nodded. With that, Deborah took, tearing through the air and leaving behind a trail of smoke.
Alex gazed at Deborah's departing figure getting smaller with each movement with a heavy heart.
He tore his gaze away and looked at Preganos.
Preganos pulled out his cube again making Alex raise an eyebrow in astonishment. He took out a smaller, silver cude at the size of a bean and handed it to Alex. Alex took it without a word. Trying to figure out how to use it.
"You just need to will it. Focus and think of expanding."
"Woah!"
Alex did as Preganos said and was astonished. The small cube expanded, the silver body expanding and a blue cube with silver corner formed.
Alex examined it. He could touch and feel the blue of the cube. It felt like touching any other hard surfaces.
But he didn't poke to hard in fear of breaking it. Alex felt the earlier heaviness ease a lot.
"How do I store things in it?"
Alex asked. Looking at Preganos who had his eyes slightly wide before he smiled.
"As before, you just will it and the object you want will be sucked in. And if you're thinking you can just store anything because the conditions sounds vague, that won't be the case because the Storage Box I gave you can't store living creatures. Not Box can. And it only has limit of 100 m³."
Preganos explained, chuckling. Alex nodded. He really couldn't help but think that the old man was trying too hard to make up for the mistakes. Even though he had said he will do nothing...
'Looks like my reputation needs to be earned again. People don't trust my words...'
Alex thought before a thought struck him.
"Old man, what will happen if I lose it?"
He asked looking at Preganos.
"First, you won't lose it because it will always be near your body and come to your hands no matter where it is. Second is that, others can't open it without breaking. And breaking a Spatial Box is like getting an international bounty on your head because the SpaceCraft International Company won't allow their name to take a hit. Even a thef managing to break it is a great blow to their pride. So you don't have to worry about theft."
Preganos explained.
"SpaceCraft company... as in the ones that make planes?"
"Yes."
"Damn..."
Alex found it really astonishing. Just how much money does that company makes each year? Alex has no idea.
Alex thought of storing the box and it got sucked in.
It got smaller as it got near the cubes wall before getting absorbed like it fell inside water.
Alex closed the cube. It turned back to the small silver cube. He looked at Preganos and extended his hand forward. Preganos looked at his hand for a moment before he took it and shook hands.
"It was nice meeting you old man... well then. Goodbye."
Alex said as he let go of Preganos's hand. He didn't wait for Preganos as he turned on his heels and started walking towards the airport.
Preganos looked at Alex's retreating back with neutral expression before he also wore his suit and flew towards the Mayor Tower.
He has a lot of work to do after all...

Alex got passed the security check very fast. Probably because the mayor personally came. His paper work was also done very fast. Right now, he was sitting and scrolling through his phone which Deborah had given him.
People passed by and whispered. Especially females as some even approached to take selfies and strick some small talks.
He entertained all of them. He wasn't some antisocial guy.
[Passengers of Flight G406, please board on you ship. The flight will launch in 30 minutes. Flight Destination-]
An announcement of the next flight rang out.
Alex stood up, looked at the lovely ladies gathered around him and said,
"Well, ladies. I guess my flight is about to depart. It was great talking to you guy!"
Alex said with smile. Their face fell with clear disappointment. But Alex didn't give them any chance to talk further and walked out. He quickly found his plane and it looked like... a ship.
Literally. Alex hears the announcement and thought it was some term he was misinterpreting but no. The plane really looked like a ship as the announcer said. It was golden in colour with wings and jet engine. And designs that made it look like a 'cool flying ship'.
Alex boarded the ship along with other passengers. He noticed there were other three ships and the boarding area looked like a shipyard and deck. Except there is no water.
'Lol'
Alex went inside the ship and found his room. A ship like these can carry 1000 passengers with 100 first class tickets which gives separate rooms.
He went inside and it was small with one bed, few furniture's and a bedroom. The bed was near the window. Alex slouched on the dedicated and waited for the ship to launch.
Alex looked at the sky through the window. His heart quietly beating faster with anticipation. The sky was blue with white clouds flowting about.
[Passengers on board, please be seated. The ship will launch in 1 minute. Pa-]
Alex heard the announcement and sat up. Looking out of the window. 1 minute later the ship shook slightly and started to float up. Then it started to merch forward. Speed slowly increases and distance from the ground increasing.
Alex saw everything with wide eyes. Not willing to mis even a bit. He had always been a fan of heights. Looking down at things from high above gives him an ambiguous feeling he likes a lot.
Before the, the ship was above the clouds, zooming through the sky. The view was breath taking. The sky looked even more beautiful with just blue in sight. The clouds looked like skyland of some fairy tale.
Occasionally, Alex could see the ground and everything was deserted. But unlike Sea Desert and Shore Region, main land has more trees. Lands more rocky. Land was yellow-ish in colour as well.
The land before looked like Australia of twenty first century from his Earth.
The ship moved and suddenly Alex noticed that the clouds were way above the ship.
'Did they go down in altitude?'
He wondered but something didn't feel right so he asked ChatADP and got to know that clouds in the Sea Desert and Shore Region are way closer to the ground then main land Antarctica.
Why?
Alex has no intention of learning that. What even is he gonna do with that stuff? But Alex also realised that they have been travelling for an hour.
Alex saw birds flying peacefully. They had weird shapes with a ball like body and small beek. Body and wings covered in fur. And the wing looked very think as well.
Alex found them astonishing and continued to look for new things to see. And before long, Alex could see the massive blue ocean in the distance. Shining as I reflected the suns light. Countless ships going in and out of the city airport.
Ships bigger than the one he was one. They were faster, stronger and more dangerous looking.
The ship landed slowly and the passengers got down. Alex got out and stretched with a small smile on his face. He has arrived in the coastal city, Wark City.
