In the past, when Benedict had leaked tech to his own company, the institute probably knew but chose not to pursue it.
Nso, this sudden move clearly indicated someone was orchestrating things from behind the scenes.
Winston drew a deep breath to steady himself, forcing his expression into a smile. "It's just some heated words. Why escalate things this far? If it really troubles you that much, I'll arrange for Benedict and Seraphine to return overseas."
I responded evenly, "The sooner, the better."
"About the institute..."
As I prepared to leave, I paused to add, "I expect action, not empty words."
With that, I walked straight out of the study.
Behind me, Winston trembled with fury, his hands balled into fists, malice flashing in his gaze.
