As long as the wanted poster wasn't hunting me, it was just entertainment.

That caught my attention immediately. I pressed, "What kind of financial crime makes the Global Police Organization put out a red notice? Don't tell me someone tried selling off the Aethelgard Liberty Spire for scrap."
There'd been this legendary scammer once who posed as a government official and convinced multiple scrap metal moguls that the Eiffel Spire was getting torn down. He "sold" it to them, took their cash, and vanished. The world's packed with clever fraudsters.
