Chapter 13 - Titan Training Hall

Vogue grabbed hold of the hand and suddenly thought. 'Activate Clone!'

Immediately, the severed hand he was holding moved and wriggled. Vogue released his grip, and he could see as the bones grew upwards, forming a whole arm and then a shoulder.

The growth continued as it formed a fully intact skull, along with the spine, waist, and legs. Then internal organs began to grow, followed by tissue, veins, muscles, and flesh!

In just two seconds, crimson hair grew from the head of the clone, looking very much like Vogue 's hair.

The male clone was on all fours as it stood with its back faced against Vogue .

It slowly stood up, tilted its head left and right, cracking it as it let out a thunderous, crisp sound.

Vogue glanced at his hand, and he could feel the amniotic fluid dripping down his body.

He felt as though he were the clone, and the clone was him, as he controlled the clone's body just by thinking about it.

Vogue then remembered the test he wanted to do. He gave a mental command.

"Practice The Moon Swallowing Technique. But first, shower and put on a shirt."

The clone was completely naked with liquid around its body.

The clone nodded and did as it was told. It headed to the broken-down steam shower, and in just 20 seconds, the steam shower had killed 99.999% of bacteria and washed away the liquid that stained its body.

Vogue , who was seated cross-legged, could see through the clone's eyes, as though he were with the controller of its life.

The clone had dressed up in a tattered shirt Vogue owned. At this point, both Vogue and the Clone were seated across from each other on the bed.

Vogue was about to start his cultivation when his phone suddenly rang!

"Riiiiiiiing!"

Vogue raised an eyebrow and removed his phone from his pocket.

He frowned when he saw the caller ID 'BOSS'.

"When did I get a boss?" He muttered, picked up the call, and asked.

"Who is this?"

The phone was silent, and heavy breathing was audible in the background.

"Motherfluffer! You'd better get your ass here this instant. You wish to earn money without working? In your dreams! If you don't get here in the next three minutes, you pay for this month is gone." Before Vogue responded, the person hung up the phone.

Vogue stared at his phone with confusion written all over his face. Who was this? When did he get a boss?

It was then that the memory of the body's original owner flooded in.

This was actually his job after school. This was how he managed to pay for the apartment he was staying in and for basic amenities.

The boss had given him one week's leave because he was significantly injured while working and was almost on the verge of death. In fact, he had died, which was why Vogue was able to transmigrate into his body.

As he remembered these things, his eyes immediately lit up when he remembered what the original Vogue 's job was.

Training Dummy. That's right, a living, breathing human Training dummy.

He works at Titan Training Hall and is hired to be a Training Dummy.

The rich folks who want to tRaine but feel like robots are too stiff and boring and need a human as their punching bag would hire him.

Of course, he wasn't the only one hired, but they always asked him for one simple reason: his durability.

Most importantly, the old Vogue never complains, and as long as he gets paid, he lasts as long as the other person, male or female.

Of course, all of this is because he is incapable of feeling pain.

"Shit!"

Vogue cursed, got out of bed, went to the sink, washed his face and armpits with water and a wet cloth, changed into clean clothes, and turned to leave.

"You continue cultivating." Before he left, he told his clone, locked the door, and basically ran to the elevator.

————-

Titan Training Hall was a couple of streets away from RustyGold District. Of course, it wasn't as run-down as the slums and was actually a decent neighborhood, with companies, facilities, malls, and large, well-built houses.

Vogue stopped in front of a very tall building.

The building wasn't tall enough to be a skyscraper, but it was certainly large enough.

At the glass wall of the building was a holographic text with the words 'Titan Training Hall' written on it.

Various people came in and out of the Training halls, making it look slightly crowded. It looked almost like the gym hall back on Earth.

Vogue took a deep breath to calm his racing heart, having been running for more than 10 minutes straight.

He then walked into the hall.

"Liitle Tank. You're still alive?"

As he walked in, the feminine voice of the receptionist resounded in the lobby.

The receptionist was an incredibly beautiful lady with long silver hair and deep blue eyes. She was putting on a blouse that looked both silver and white at the same time. Her name was Mary.

Mary raised an eyebrow as she saw Vogue enter the lobby.

Vogue rolled his eyes at the receptionist's crazy words and responded.

"Why would I die when you're still alive?"

The receptionist smirked. "With the way you're going, you don't have much limb to live anyway."

Vogue 's eyes twitched. What kind of bad words was this receptionist spewing?

He inhaled deeply. "Is the boss in?"

"Yeah, he's in and very much pissed. Customers have been asking for your services all week long. Hope you've fully recovered right?" She tilted her head and asked.

Vogue nodded his head. "Who is asking of me today?"

"A special client. I don't even know who the person is. Just go meet the boss, he will tell you all about it." Mary waved her hand dismissively. She didn't want to say much more than she already did.

"Alright."

Vogue moved away from the eccentric receptionist and entered the elevator, pressing the 10th-floor button.
