Vale and Roxy were the first ones to notice the approaching titan, but soon enough the tremors woke the rest of the village.
Although it walked slowly, its steps covered so much ground that Vale knew if he delayed the Titan would get to them. He wasn't planning to waste an extra second.
Immediately he sprinted towards the little house he had been in to retrieve most of his belongings.
They weren't much, but he would have an easier time with them. These included the mana stones, weapons, and the Iron Body technique, among many other things.
He moved quickly, gathering all the necessary items in under a minute.
But even then, by the time he got out the Titan was already closing in on the town. Vale was finally able to get a clear look at it.
It was a colossal, humanoid creature clad in golden armour that had turned brown from what he guessed was dried blood. The only part of the beast not covered in armour was its head.
