Rhys
Why the hell was he avoiding me?
I shifted in my seat, shaking my legs as I stared at Kayden. Miller was sitting right next to me, scrolling through his phone and occasionally leaning over to ask me about the game plan.
I barely heard him because my eyes were locked on Kayden.
He was staring out of the window, pretending he didn't see me, and when our eyes had met, he quickly looked away.
Why the hell was he avoiding me?
''Hey, Rhys, you think we should run a 4-4-2 or stick to the diamond?'' Miller asked, nudging my arm.
I didn't answer. I couldn't because all I could think about was why the hell I was staring at another alpha like he was a piece of meat I was waiting to devour.
My skin was crawling, and it felt like I was burning from the inside out, with the heat coming from three feet away.
Every time the plane hit a pocket of turbulence, Kayden would wince and clutch his stomach.
Was his stomach still bugging him?
