"You what!?" Akari yelled with confusion. "I said what I said!" Yuki yelled with embarrassment. What happened? Well let's look back a little.
Five minutes before.
We met again. In the pouring rain, we saw eachother. I had my reasons to be out here, but her, why? Akari had went through some argument with his mother. He ran out of his house without his umbrella. He only had a sweater on and had no place to go after he ran away. Akari couldn't think of any reason why Yuki was outside in the rain.
"Y-yuki, why are you out here?" Akari said weakly. Akari while saying that also start to feel his strength fade away. Akari's face was faced to the ground but heard footsteps coming towards him. "Akari are you okay?" Yuki said while helping him up. Akari couldn't say anything but nod yes.
Akari couldn't do anything but admire her. Her beautiful face, her graceful figure, and her noble demeanor. Just how I remembered the vampireprincess. This was how Akari described Yuki in his head. His face then becomes a bright red as she puts her hand on his cheek.
"Are you ok?" Yuki said with a straight face. What the? Why did she? Why do I feel? Akari had a flustered face on the outside, but was panicking like a little girl in his head.
"Hello? Akari are you okay?" Yuki said with worry.
Akari was feeling even more lightheaded than before, he fainted in her arms. Yuki started to panic, but was relieved that he just fainted to exhaustion.
Yuki took her phone out and called her mom. Her mom came after ten minutes. She got out of her car and looked worried. "Yuki! Is Akari doing alright?" Yuki's mother said while rushing to them. Yuki was glad and was hugged by her mom. "Yes, Akari is doing fine. He just fell asleep." Yuki said with a calm tone.
"Go to the car. I'll pick him up and bring him there." Yuki's mother said while pointing to the car. Yuki walks and gets into the car, while she is doing that her mother goes and picks up Akari princess style.
Her mother puts into the car and Yuki straps him in. "...Please be ok." Yuki said while staring at him. Her mom looking outside sees her looking at Akari. She gets in and starts the car. "Don't worry. He'll be fine, he can stay with us for now." Yuki's mother said trying to give Yuki reassurance. Even those words gave Yuki some assurance, she still felt scared.
They all drove home and throughout it all Akari kept saying Kiku. Though this stumped Yuki's mother, she knew who exactly she was. After the long car ride they got to Yuki's home. Yuki carried Akari on her back and made it without dropping him.
"Jeez! Your heavy Akari." Yuki said with a hint of annoyance in her voice. Her mom came in with a blanket and pillow. She puts the pillow next to him and lays him down, and puts the blanket on afterwards. Her mother sees Yuki looking at him still, she has an idea.
"Yuki. How about you stay here and keep Akari company." Her mother said with a gentle smile. Yuki doesn't say anything, but she does nod yes. Her mother leaves the room and goes to prepare some food.
"Please be okay Akari." Yuki said while sitting next to him. She starts to feel sleepy and decides to take a small nap before eating. "I feel a bit sleepy. Maybe I'll take a little nap before eating." Yuki said with tiredness. She closes her eyes and before she knows it, she is fast asleep.
Her mother comes back and finds her daughter asleep. "Well you couldn't stay awake after all." She said with a smile. She goes to grab another blanket and puts in on her. "Goodnight love." She says while kissing her on her forehead.
She puts the food she made in the fridge and shuts the lights off. She looks at them and leaves them to sleep. She goes to her room and goes to asleep.
Yuki in her sleep starts to dream about a nightmare.
