3 days later, the ceremony of the appointment of the New Maou
Luminarie walked into the hall in her tailcoat . Her hair was styled into a chignon, and a small smile graced her face as she met other Lords and their wives . When she saw the Phoenix couple, she made her way toward them and began to converse .
„ Uncle, aunt, it is good to see you in good health and especially alive. If I lost any other family members in this war , it would be really hard to live through another day, " she said with a smile while giving a hug to her aunt and uncle from her mother's side. Maybe they weren't too much of a support when they heard of her condition at birth, but they were family, and they lost her mother too from their family.
„ Luminarie, do you know who committed such a horrible act? We would like to help you get justice for them , " said her aunt with a smile and empathy in her voice.
„ If you ever need anything, just come to us, my niece. Remember, maybe we never had too much interaction, but you are of our blood. We will never betray our kin , " said her uncle in a solemn voice.
„ Thank you, uncle. I was talking with Lord Sirzechs about it. It was that bitch from the Lucifuge Clan, Grayfia. When I am strong enough , I will have her in my hands and get my revenge," Luminarie said with hatred in her voice, but she noticed the surprised and concerned looks exchanged between her uncle and aunt. " What is it? Do you know something about her that I don't?" she asked, but she already knew the answer. She was probably already announced as the future wife of Sirzechs and would be his Queen today.
„ Well, if it is about the Lucifuge Lady, then yes, we know something, but it will be announced today, so just wait, okay? And please do me a favor . Don't destroy anything, Luminarie, okay? It isn't worth the trouble later on , " said her aunt with a compassionate look on her face. Luminarie looked at her, then at her uncle, who nodded his head.

„ It's okay now , Lumi," her aunt said while holding her. " It is over now, and you can stop being strong, darling," she said, giving her a deep and warm hug while looking over her arm at Lord Phoenix with a small smile, who looked at them and sighed.
„ You have us if you ever need anything, " he said and began to pat her head, which only brought newer wails and more tears from Luminarie. While this drama unfolded, Sirzechs watched from the first floor with a frown and sighed.
„ It will really be hard from here on to navigate this political life , right?" he said, at which his mother, Venelana, looked at him and then at the ground floor.
„ Well, who could know that the young Lady from the Valefor Family would survive and even witness the massacre of her family to hold a grudge against your love? But she will understand in time that some things won't come her way, even if she wants them. You are the Lucifer now, so you are making the rules, not Clans almost eradicated like hers, so don't worry about it. „Ladies and lords , I am happy to announce the four new Maou," said the herald at the top of the stairs. „Lord Ajuka, who will take the name of Beelzebub , " and after these words came a tall man with green hair. „Lady Serafall, who will take the name of Leviathan , " at which a black-haired woman in a blue dress came forward. „Lord Falbium, who will take the name of Asmodeus , " and after these words came a bald, tall man . „And at last, our new leader, Lord Sirzechs, taking the name of Lucifer , " and at these words, Sirzechs entered with his striking red hair, followed by Grayfia in her white dress. „Behind our new Lord Lucifer is coming his future wife, Grayfia Lucifuge, who will take a place in his Peerage, which will be explained later in this ceremony by Lord Beelzebub , as it is his creation that will be needed to do so. Lady Grayfia will take her place as Queen and will become the mother of all." When Luminarie heard it, she balled her fists but endured and waited for her Evil Pieces to be given to her. Once she got them, she would just leave, even if it was rude toward the Maou. They knew her history, so they should understand that even being here and not screaming or attacking Grayfia was a significant plus regarding her restrained emotions.

At the same time, Ajuka started to give out the Evil Pieces while explaining their meaning to their race. When Luminarie was called, she went, took her Evil Pieces, thanked him, and headed toward her uncle and aunt for a quick goodbye. Once she finished and started to walk toward the exit, the guards there stopped her.
„I am sorry, my lady, but there is still one event that will take place in a few minutes. Lord Lucifer said that all nobles must attend it , " said one of them.
„Oh, sorry for that, but my invitation only states there will be one event, so I will leave right now , " she said and started to walk again.
„My lady, please don't make us stop you by force , " said the other, at which Luminarie looked at them, then looked behind and saw that Sirzechs was looking in their direction, at which she smiled back and directly fired magic bullets at the guards , which took Lucifer by surprise.
„I wasn't invited to the next event, so I am going home!" she said and went out to teleport toward her territory.
„Lady Valefor..." started Lady Venelana, but Luminarie had already teleported.
„Well, if you look at the invitation , only one event is mentioned," said Ajuka with a smile, at which Serafall started to laugh, and even Falbium had a small smile.
