The rest of the week continued with them being taught about the values of hard work, teamwork and honesty through the activities they participated in. The last day was a resting day. They were to do anything they wanted to do. Some had decided to go have fun in the swimming pool. Some decided to sit around making stories among themselves. Hunter and Roy were basking under the sun as they thought of strategies that they would use on the teammates that they had.
"Let's go swim." Roy suggested.
"I was told that my abs are only hers to see. Nobody should see them. "
"That should not bother you. They have gone for an international business meeting. "
"Then let's go and swim. Wait, why are you not there? Don't you want to expand your pharmaceutical products?"
"I asked James to go and represent me. My girlfriend is also there; she can help me secure deals, can't she?"
"That is you guys' shit. I have someone who will take care of me for life. Let's cool down our bodies. "
They removed the vests they had on and dived into the pool. They had fun and then one by one, they all went back to their respective homes. Hunter had the penthouse that they had moved in all to himself. He threw himself on the bed and slept the whole weekend. and woke up when he was hungry. He decided that that week he would spend it with his mother and brother. he didn't want to stay in that place for a long while with no one to accompany him. His mother was surprised to see him there.
"What are you doing here?"
"Claire went to a business trip and I decided to come and stay with you. "
"Ok. How is your relationship with Claire?"
"It's ok. "
"Has your relationship escalated?"
"What are you trying to mean?" Mrs. Stevens looked at him like a teenager who wanted to get to know some gist. "Fine. I have feelings for her."
"Does she have the same feelings for you?"
"I don't know. Let's stop having this conversation. " Hunter left her mother sitting there.
The business trip took Claire a week for her to successfully secure a deal. She then came back immediately she was done with securing a deal. She went to the penthouse that night. She had missed Hunter. She wanted to sleep in his arms. She got to the penthouse and went to the bedroom not to find he was not there. Her face darkened and reached for her phone. She dialed his number and called his phone. The phone rang twice and was received on the third ring.
"Where are you? " She said in a cold voice.
"Miss Phillips, Hunter has left his phone with me." Claire heard Mrs. Stevens voice and felt awkward. "Don't worry, I was always cold to my husband. At times if we don't act that way towards them, they might become loose and we will lose them. "
"Is he there?"
"Yes. You will talk tomorrow. Hunter can't get woken up that easily. "
