Just the thought of that alone sends a shiver down his spine, ignoring the remains of his feast.
Lenny hurried; he crawled back into the depths of the dark. The Nightmare Apocalypse creature was approaching.
Drawing closer each second.
Lenny took a seat on a tree branch a few hundred meters away, hidden under the absolute coverage of the dark.
But he was trained by House Night, possessing one of the clearest night vision without the need to awaken a Fallen Rune specific for that.
"It's coming," Lenny whispered with shaky breath. In the distance, a monstrous shape materialized from the shadows.
The Dark Jungle shuddered.
And every single Apocalypse creature close by fled the scene, driven to a state of panic.
The darkness seemed to coalesce into a living, breathing behemoth. A colossal purple bear, the size of a three-story building, emerged from the jungle's depths.
Its massive paws making earth tremble with each step.
Two twisted horns sprouted from its skull, like jagged shards of night itself, reaching for the red moon like skeletal fingers.
Its fur was a deep, midnight purple, seeming to drink in the light around it, making it invisible in the dark.
The transparent crimson panel appeared before his eyes once again.
Revealing it's informations to Lenny.
[You've encountered a Level 1, Nightmare rank Fallen creature]
[Father of Behovena]
Lenny's eyebrows furrowed. "Behovena," He muttered, recalling the name of the Level 3 Common rank Apocalypse creature he had defeated.
Bull of Behovena.
Behovena….!!
Lenny lingered for a few minutes, "Behovena" He whispered again, "Could it be what I must kill?"
His frown deepened, "But if it's so, its father is a Nightmare rank behemoth, so what exactly is this Behovena rank?"
"Is it a Nightwalker or a Wanderer?" He asked, "If it's either the former or the latter, it's impossible…."
"I'm barely even taking on a Level 3 Common rank Apocalypse creature, how can I take out a Wanderer, not to mention a Nightwalker?"
He gritted his teeth, "This is really going to be a problem for me." He watched as the Nightmare exited the scene.
Feasting on the roasted remains of the Bull of Behovena.
After confirming the departure of the Nightmare, Lenny descended from the tree branch.
He landed on his feet without making any sound. His expression was still somber, not happy about everything.
He slightly tilted his gaze towards the North, "Perhaps I should continue hunting down Common rank Apocalypse creatures to increase my Stats, that way I can take out this Behovena"
He suddenly shook his head, "That won't still be enough." Lenny bit his lips, "There's still more to it, I believe." He growled.
He gently raised his head, glaring at the moon, "Firstly, I should identify this Behovena myself"
"To determine the next step, if it's what I must kill to conquer my First Apocalypse….."
"Then it has to die, no matter the sacrifice!"
Lenny was determined to conquer the First Apocalypse and return back to Earth as a Fallen Regulator.
Then he would get his life back and do whatever he wanted, not trapped in a cage for more than half a decade.
Lenny was determined, with his mind set in motion.
He dashed forward, running through the vast dark expanse without slowing down.
He was cautious not to alert Fallen creatures hidden in the depths of the Dark Jungle.
He wasn't ready for another battle.
His proficiency with flames is still low. He could only muster flame spears and flame walls.
Not yet expanding them, he wasn't ready to take out bigger fish yet.
His lean and small stature helped him navigate the darkness freely, he was nimble.
Not shouldering any teammate that would be a burden to him.
He was free to charge in and retreat as he wanted, venturing into the nests of terrifying creatures.
He was exploring.
But his main reason was to locate Behovena, and to also figure out the strength of this Dark Jungle.
Lenny found around fifteen Wanderers patrolling their territories in the Dark Jungle.
He located five Nightwalkers as well.
With only one being linked to Behovena.
A Level 7 Nightwalker rank Apocalypse creature.
An eighteen legged arachnid-shaped creature.
It was the Mother of Behovena.
Lenny was scared to the bones when he encountered the sleeping monolithic dwelling in her cave.
If he were to choose, he would prefer angering the Father of Behovena, which was a Level 1, Nightmare rank Apocalypse creature.
Than to trigger a Level 7 creature like the Mother of Behovena.
Apocalypse creatures from Level 6 were all rulers of their own domains, with legions of lesser ranks answering to them.
A Nightwalker like the Mother of Behovena was more abominable than the Father of Behovena.
Being a descendant of a Great House, Lenny had access to lots of secret information and data.
He spent lots of his time studying them for fun, and now that knowledge was boosting his survival rate in this dreadful Jungle.
After erasing his traces, Lenny snuck out of the cave. Heading straight to the east region.
The Mother of Behovena controlled the Western region of the Dark Jungle.
With the Father of Behovena controlling the Southern region.
The Northern region was controlled by a coalition of Level 9 Wanderers.
Leaving only the Eastern region unknown to him.
Venturing into the abyssal depths of the Eastern region. Lenny was certain he would meet the infamous Behovena.
