Emma jolted awake the moment she felt someone in the room.
"Uhm… who…"
Rubbing her eyes, she reached for a weapon on instinct. To think someone unknown had slipped into her room, even with security this tight.
Then her gaze landed on the angelic face staring emotionlessly down at her, and her hand slowly relaxed.
Getting up properly, she sighed.
"So? You remembered your way back, huh? I thought you were going to run away."
Cale sighed too, letting his head fall into her lap.
"I haven't even extracted everything this kingdom has to offer. How can I leave so quickly? What kind of person do you think I am?"
"A womanizer. Greedy, obsessive, psychopathic kind of man."
Cale stared up at her, pouting. "Hmph."
His gaze drifted down to her camisole, and his eyes narrowed. "Why the hell are you not cultivating!"
With a flick of his finger, he flicked the tip of her chest. "Why is your cultivation still the same? It hasn't increased even a bit."
