Severus!" she scolded. "Honestly. Cut him some slack, he's not infallible, you know?"
"Clearly," he commented.
She moved off then, making her way down the infirmary to check on her patients – at that moment in time, all petrified.
Severus hesitated only for a second before following her.
"Was there something else?" she asked, noticing him behind her.
"I… wondered if I might ask you something. About Potter."
"You may ask," she nodded, turning to face him.
"When he spent the night in the infirmary, did you… notice anything unusual about his demeanour?" Snape enquired.
Poppy frowned. "Other than the fact he had no bones in his arm, you mean?"
"Arm aside. He didn't… say anything? Or behave unusually in any way?" he asked.
