Your dad? You can say it, you know, Harry?" Hermione told him, kindly. "We understand. Don't we?"
Ron nodded. "I mean, I still think he's completely terrifying and all. But as long as you're happy mate."
"It's not that," Harry said softly, shaking his head. "I'm just… I'm not sure he's comfortable with it. I don't get the impression he was a big fan of my real dad. And remember what I heard him saying to Professor Dumbledore last year? He said he couldn't be my father."
"But he apologised to you about that, didn't he?" Hermione reminded him. "And he gave you a home. I think he really cares about you, Harry."
Harry nodded. "I know. And I like him being my guardian. I'm just not sure he likes me calling him dad."
She sighed, but didn't argue any further. "We'll go and find him."
