Chapter 56 - Chapter 56 : Haotian Sect

The Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well was a legendary location known as a Heaven And Earth Treasure basin. This incredible place was formed by the powerful energy left behind in the bones of the Water Dragon King and the Fire Dragon King. These two ancient beings were God King level existences who died long ago.

Because of their deaths, the ground became a mix of extreme heat and extreme cold. These two opposite forces merged together to create a special environment where plants grew ten times faster than normal. This unique spot allowed many Immortal Herbs and rare Heaven And Earth Treasures to grow and flourish over many years.

Kong Mingan looked at the basin with great interest. He was very curious about the residual Spirit Bones of the two Dragon Kings that were buried deep underground. He wondered if there were still remnant souls of the dragons living inside those bones.

Most importantly, he thought about the two God Positions of the Water and Fire Dragon Kings. These were God King level positions, which meant they held incredible power. However, he knew his own limits. With his current strength and foundation, trying to take these treasures now would be too hard. It could easily cause big problems that he wasn't ready to handle yet.

He decided to be cautious and not go too deep into the well for now. The bones and the God Positions were stuck in the ground and wouldn't run away, so there was no need to rush. Even if he couldn't take the dragon legacy yet, the Immortal Herbs growing around the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well were too valuable to ignore.

These were treasures he could use for himself or to help his followers grow stronger. Also, the special energy of the well made it the perfect place to grow plant type spirit ring materials and special medicine. For all these reasons, he was determined to take control of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.

Luckily, his workers from the merchant guild had already found the area. They had located the thick poisonous miasma that protected the outside of the well. As he thought about his next steps, he noticed the Snow Empress standing quietly beside him. She looked like she was thinking deeply about something. He turned his head and looked at her. Sensing his eyes on her, the Snow Empress looked up and asked what was wrong.

Kong Mingan smiled and asked her what she wanted to do next. The Snow Empress thought for a moment and told him to test her. Kong Mingan felt a bit awkward hearing that. He knew she meant she wanted him to continue his daily study of her energy body. Since she was a spirit soul, he needed to observe how her energy worked.

But looking at her beautiful face and clear eyes, he didn't know what to say for a moment. He pushed the strange feeling aside and shook his head. He spoke to her in a soft voice, telling her that the trouble with the Body Sect was over for now. He mentioned they had some free time and asked if she wanted to go for a walk together.

This was a direct invitation. The Snow Empress was surprised. A tiny change appeared in her cold eyes, something so small she didn't even notice it herself. She felt confused because she didn't understand why he wanted to go for a walk. To her, getting tested was more important. They had a contract, and every time he studied her body, her value would go up. This brought her closer to the goal she wanted to reach.

Her mind wanted to ask him why they were walking instead of working, but her body moved on its own. Before she could speak her thoughts, she nodded her head. She softly said okay. She agreed so naturally that she didn't even realize she had done it. She realized then that her body was being more honest than her mind.

Meanwhile, far away at the Clear Sky Sect, things were very tense. The sect was hidden high in the clouds where no one could find it easily. Inside the Sect Master's Pavilion, two groups of people sat across from each other. This room was usually only for the two Sect Masters, but now it was full of angry elders. They looked at each other with suspicion and hate.

An old man with white hair and a long beard spoke first. He was the Grand Elder and had a very strong presence. He looked at a middle aged man named Tang Mo and asked him if he knew what he was doing. Tang Mo didn't back down. He stood up and laughed. Suddenly, nine spirit rings appeared around his body. The air in the room became heavy because of his power. He was a Level 95 Super Douluo, which was much stronger than a regular Titled Douluo.

Tang Mo told the Grand Elder that he knew exactly what he was doing. He said he respected the Grand Elder as a senior, but he wouldn't let the old man be unreasonable. He pointed out that the Clear Sky Sect currently had no leader.

Their merchant guilds were being destroyed by rivals. While the sect was rich, they couldn't just keep losing money. He shouted that the sect had thousands of disciples and tens of thousands of members to feed. He claimed he was trying to save the Clear Sky Sect from failing.

The Grand Elder was angry. He slammed his hand on the table and stood up. Nine spirit rings appeared around him too. He was also a Level 95 Super Douluo. He told Tang Mo that if the First Sect Master and Second Sect Master knew about this, they would be furious. Tang Mo interrupted him loudly. He told the Grand Elder that the two Sect Masters were already dead. He said the spirit lamps in the ancestral hall had gone out, which meant their lives were over.

Tang Mo's eyes showed a bit of fear as he remembered the day they died. He recalled a scene of holy power and death covering the sky. He remembered a raw, pure power crushing the two leaders he used to fear. They had no chance to survive that attack. He took a deep breath to stay calm.

He told the Grand Elder that the sect's problems were probably caused by what the two Sect Masters did. He worried that if the powerful enemies who killed the masters came to the sect, they would all be destroyed. He insisted that they needed to find a way for the Clear Sky Sect to survive the coming storm.

The room went silent. Even the Grand Elder didn't have an answer. Everything Tang Mo said was true. The leaders were gone, and the sect was in danger of being wiped out for the first time in ten thousand years. No one noticed a young girl hiding behind a pillar in the room. She was crying quietly, her heart breaking as she heard the news.

She whispered for her Big Daddy and Second Daddy. Her eyes were blue and pink, and they were soaked with tears. She wiped them away and tried to stop her crying. She whispered the name of the Sun Moon Empire with a look of pure determination.

She stood up and ran out of the building. At that same time, in a hidden room nearby, a blue and golden ball of light shook and then vanished. On another part of the mountain, a disciple named Tang Shan suddenly opened his eyes.
