When the last cult member fell, the Divine Decree was finally completed, bathing Saige in another small column of divine light as his Devotion stat increased as easily as breathing. Not just that, but he was gifted a new spell as a reward for the Quest.
Purging flame, his version of the mage's fireball. Although it was a little weaker than the mage's option, It was most effective against unholy entities, or those that were shunned by the gods. Undead and people like 'Master Madik' for example, would be harmed more by the Purging Flame. The fact that it was related to how they had completed the quest didn't go unnoticed, and even made a few of them smile.
It was always nice when games reflected how you played, and if they could tailor rewards based on how they played, then making their builds would be even better and would feel so much more earned than getting a random spell that, while good, is totally useless to you.
