Chapter 131 - True Mystic Battle Essence

In the shadowed spires of the Heavenly Demonic Wind Clan's fortress, Freyjita's voice crackled through the grand obsidian halls.

"Lord Imperion… the Blood Beast has been slain."

Imperion's eyes, burning with celestial malice, narrowed. The air around him thickened with intent so dense it seemed to warp the space itself. Slowly, he raised a fist, then slammed it onto the polished obsidian floor.

The impact reverberated like thunder across the Forgotten Continent. Mountains shivered, rivers trembled, and distant clans felt the ground pulse beneath their feet. A jagged crack raced through the floor beneath his throne, tiny sparks of dark vestigium force scattering into the air.

"WHO DARE DEFY MY QUEST FOR WORLD PEACE!" he roared, voice echoing across valleys and spurring tremors into the heavens themselves.

Freyjita's breath caught in her throat. She bowed low, feeling the oppressive might radiating from her master. Even for her, trained in the highest levels of demonic Martial paths, the sheer weight of his King-level intent pressed down like a storm.

Imperion's gaze swept across the horizon beyond the fortress windows, eyes ablaze. Somewhere out there… a spark of defiance, a single act of rebellion, had dared oppose him. And now, it would pay.

The fortress of the Heavenly Demonic Wind Clan shivered under the weight of Imperion's rage. Servants, soldiers, and array masters alike scrambled into formation, the ground shaking beneath their coordinated footsteps. Massive banners of black and silver, each stitched with demonic glyphs, fluttered as if they breathed with Animus.

Lord Imperion's fist still glowed with residual energy, arcs of black lightning dancing over the floor as he spoke, voice cold and unyielding.

"Prepare the gate arrays. Mobilize every soldier, every cultivator loyal to this cause. We march not for conquest—we march for absolute order!"

At his command, the array masters hurried to massive, intricate glyph-circles etched into the obsidian floor. Layers of folded origami constructs hovered in the spiritual plane, spiraling, pulsing with folded intent as they linked together to form the teleportation network Imperion had spent decades perfecting.

A low hum filled the fortress, growing into a roar that seemed to pierce the sky. The air shimmered, bending under the weight of compressed spatial energy. With a single, deliberate gesture, Imperion opened the portal—a jagged, searing rift into the fabric of the world. Purple and silver flames licked the edges, distorting light and shadow, revealing glimpses of the distant Beast Vein jungle.

"This way," he said, voice cold as the void itself, "to the last known location of the Blood Beast. There, we will find the defiant spark… and extinguish it."

Hundreds of cultivators, soldiers, and sorcerous entities flowed through the portal, their forms flickering as they were carried by the spatial currents. Flying beasts, spirit beasts bound to the clan, circled overhead, their screeches echoing like a herald of doom.

Freyjita followed at the rear, her cloak of shadow trailing in the array's energy winds. She glanced at her master, feeling both fear and reverence. The Blood Beast may have been slain, but the one who dared oppose the Heavenly Demonic Wind Clan had yet to meet the full wrath of a True King.

Outside the portal, the Beast Vein jungle stretched in pristine chaos, unaware of the coming storm. The very leaves seemed to shimmer with anticipation, as if the continent itself sensed the brewing clash.

A sudden shudder ran through the air above the Poison Lotus Clan's village. The ground trembled, and a violet-silver rift tore open in the sky, jagged and humming with spatial energy. From the gaping portal, hundreds of cultivators and armored soldiers of the Heavenly Demonic Wind Clan poured forth, their steps synchronized, their eyes alight with the absolute resolve of conquest.

"TO ARMS! TO ARMS!" the Poison Lotus sentries bellowed, horns sounding and banners snapping in the wind. Villagers and warriors scrambled to defensive positions, forming ranks as the first of the intruders approached.

I exited the inheritance pagoda, materializing at the edge of the waterfall in my Spirit Man form, a ripple of Frostfire and Embercoil light marking my return to the jungle canopy. My attention shifted back to the secluded alcove where my body being guarded by Felicity as she gardened awaited. I condensed my swarm and my physical body transformed into a firefly shooting over to my condensed spirit essence.

I collapsed the swarm into a single body again and blinked through the jungle, I landed softly beside Felicity, who was busy cultivating. The waterfall's mist spiraled around us, catching my Frostfire aura, while Felicity's silver eyes sparkled with quiet triumph.

"You're back," she murmured, voice bubbling with excitement, "and you won't believe what happened while you were gone."

Her hands hovered over the jungle soil, fingers tracing unseen patterns. Tendrils of silver Animus wrapped around roots and stones, coiling and pulsing. My eyes widened as the plants beneath her control began to glow with a deep, otherworldly light, the battle essence of the waterfall condensed into something far more potent.

She straightened, presenting her hands cupped around a luminescent orb of swirling energy. "I've condensed the rarified battle essence of this area… refined it further… and raised it to the level of True Mystic Battle Essence."

I inhaled sharply. The primal energy pulsed with unparalleled clarity and density. It was pure battle intent distilled, yet layered with the latent ferocity of the Beast Vein itself. Every particle of essence vibrated with potential—the culmination of jungle life, waterfall spirit, and battle energy combined.

"Felicity… this… this is incredible," I said, awe threading through my voice. "The refinement… the concentration… it's unlike anything I've ever felt. You've taken the very essence of this place and elevated it."

She tilted her head, a mischievous grin curling her lips. "Well, you were gone a long time, Master. I couldn't just sit and wait."

My mind raced. With this True Mystic Battle Essence, Felicity could accelerate our co-cultivation in ways previously impossible. This cultivation session could tip the scales in the war for the Beast Vein Continent.

Above the treetops, the rift still pulsed ominously, the first waves of Imperial forces now encroaching on the Poison Lotus Clan's defenses. But here, in their hidden sanctuary, the balance of power had already begun to shift.

I exhaled, determination igniting in my chest, Frostfire and Embercoil dancing along my form. "Then let us begin Cultivating Eon Force, I'll teach you the Eternal Breath Technique."

Felicity's silver eyes sparkled with agreement, and the waterfall mist shimmered, a tangible aura of anticipation as the jungle itself seemed to brace for the coming storm.

The jungle around the waterfall seemed to fall into a hush, the roar of the cascade softened to a gentle murmur, the mist curling lazily through the air like liquid crystal. Ash's Frostfire flames licked along his feathers, Embercoil veins blazing orange beneath his skin, while Felicity's silver tendrils pulsed faintly, vibrant with her own growing Animus.

He leaned close, forehead to forehead, feeling the steady hum of her essence through his own. "You're ready," he murmured, voice low, almost a vibration in the bloodstream. "Now, let me show you how to condense Eon Force—the Eternal Breath Technique."

Her eyes gleamed, curiosity and excitement threading through her almond-shaped silver irises. "Then teach me, Master," she purred, the word vibrating warmly through him, grounding yet electric.

She guided us through the Heavenly Organa Sutra again, our bodies entwined in the familiar, intimate weave of co-cultivation. Heat and Animus pulsed between us, feathers brushing against silver blooded tendrils entwining around me. This time, the flow was different: deliberate, focused, the very rhythm of our bodies essences synchronizing.

"Draw in the True Mystic Battle Essence," She instructed, my hands tracing patterns along her back, her sides, the subtle lines of her form. While I guided the Eternal Breath technique, "Focus your breath, let it spiral upward through your Naval to your Heart to your Crown Chakras, than recirculate. This process will compress your Vestigium Force into Eon Force. It's patience… persistence… eternity in a single heartbeat."

Felicity inhaled, and her body shivered as elemental strands of frost blood and the raw purple energy of the True Mystic Battle Essence coalesced around her core. Ropes of Eon Force unfurled, twisting, writhing, luminous and dense. blood-frost streaked through them, veins of cold violet threading into the hot, primal essence she'd absorbed.

I began the compression as well, my own vestigium force growing thicker and vibrant.

As we cultivated the Heavenly Organa Sutra combined with the Eternal Breath technique, my spiritual pathways opened to an even greater degree, allowing for higher spiritual expression.

My ropes of the newly acquired Eon force snaked outward, intertwining with the True Mystic Battle Essence. We moved as one, a dance of energy and flesh, bodies folding and pressing, limbs weaving through each other, every touch a conduit for co-cultivation transfer, every whisper a guide.

"Feel it," I murmured. "Let it spiral, not just around you, but through you. Every pulse, every breath—eternal. That is the Eternal Breath."

Her tail flicked, tendrils wrapping around my arm, a grounding tether as the strands of her Eon Force thickened. The ropes of blood-frost and purple pulsed and tightened with each breath, responding to my guidance, learning. Every twist, every knot of her power became sharper, denser, more controlled.

We weaved together, flesh and will entwined, until the True Mystic Battle Essence of the waterfall itself began to yield, drawn into our combined will. Mist swirled, infused with strands of orange, blue, purple, and silver light. Each strand pulsed like a living conduit, and as the essence sank into us, their Eon Force ropes crackled and strained—growing stronger, more refined.

Hours—or perhaps moments—passed in silence broken only by the hiss of Animus and the thrum of their synchronized hearts. By the time they paused, chests heaving and skin flushed, the jungle had shifted subtly around them. The air seemed heavier with latent power, the waterfall glowing faintly with their combined imprint.

Felicity's silver eyes gleamed, the ropes of her Eon Force now glowing with stability, vibrant and controlled. "I… I can feel it, Master," she whispered, voice husky. "The Eternal Force."

My smile was slow, prideful and something warmer threading through it. My own Eon Force, now glowed like molten lightning braided with sapphire frost, pulsed in rhythm with hers. "Good," I said, voice low, rumbling. "Now, with this… we can shape more than just mountains. We can shape fate itself."

We leaned together, chest to chest, the jungle around us holding its breath. Mist and Eon swirled, strands of True Mystic Battle Essence crackling and condensing around us, a testament to what we had created together: not just strength, but a bond that could bend the Beast Vein itself.

KRA-KOOOOM!

The jungle shuddered violently, the waterfall mist spiraling wildly as enormous trees groaned and cracked. Me and Felicity's eyes went wide, unspoken alarm passing between us.

"Earthquake!" Felicity shouted.

My eyes narrowed, pupils flaring as I extended my spiritual senses outward. The pulse of power, the unnatural shift of vital energy—it was unmistakable. Lord Imperion himself had arrived, and with him, a contingent of his Heavenly Demonic Wind Clan forces.

"To me, Felicity!" I commanded.

Her tendrils surged through my skin and scales, all the way down to my bloodstream, intertwining with my essence. She condensed in a blur of purple Bloodfrost. "I'm with you, Master!" she purred.

In an instant, my swarm erupted outward, ten thousand Frostfire fireflies scattering through the jungle, each a fragment of my presence. They coursed over twisted vines, leapt across rivers, and dove through the canopy, moving faster than the eye could follow, a hurricane of light and Frostfire.

As we raced, I extended my hand from within the spiritual space, and a faint black shimmer coalesced in it. "Felicity," I said, voice low but firm, "This is the Black Flag Origami—it's time you learned it."

Her eyes flickered with understanding, her hands curling around the tiny origami shape. The tiny origami flag instantly expanded to a full-size flag and unfolded in her grasp, black and sharp, etched with subtle folds that pulsed with Animus energy. I guided her: "Focus your elemental frost-blood, let it bleed into the Flag. This isn't just an area blessing—it's a weapon. Enemies within its field will weaken—their strength and their defenses. But if you use it your frost-blood essence will grant it the blood frost burn area effect."

Felicity's smile was fierce, predatory even, as the Black Flag vibrated with her power. "I can feel it, Master. The jungle itself bends with me, even the flowing essence of life and battle."

I surged onward, the swarm scattering ahead like a living river of light. Trees shivered and beasts froze in recognition, giving way to the hurricane of Frostfire and Animus. The distant village of the Poison Lotus Clan emerged, the first signs of imperiled sentries shouting warnings.

My Glacial soul eye glowed icy blue as I surveyed the battlefield in miniature across the swarm. "Hold your focus," I instructed, "and let the Flag guide our advantage. We protect them—no one touches this clan while we're alive."

The black-flag origami quivered in her hand, pulsing in tune with her blood, its field already beginning to freeze and burn the latent Animus of any hostile presence ahead. The very air seemed to bend around them, an unseen force tightening like a noose around the approaching invaders.

The first scouts of Lord Imperion's army emerged, unaware of the storm of Frostfire, Eon Force, and Black Flag energy barreling toward them. I smiled faintly, eyes glinting. "Let them taste the edge of a King's wrath…"
