As soon as she sat down, a strange atmosphere settled over her. Many students were giving her and Qianyu odd looks.

He dismissed the Sharingan after a moment's thought, too. He had Uchiha blood. He didn't know if he could awaken it naturally, but at least buying it from the Shop would be at the standard price. Besides, there was always a chance he might awaken it himself someday.
What he needed right now was raw, immediate combat power.

That felt right. He remembered a saying: One season, one sword stroke. One stroke, cool for a whole season.

He didn't plan to hide his strength forever. What was the point? Hiding meant hesitation and holding back. He couldn't afford that. The Third Great Ninja War was coming, and he needed Konoha as a base to farm Witness Points.
And he had no interest in some stupid act—playing weak, enduring insults, just to dramatically reveal his power later for a cheap thrill. That was a pointless game.
Strength meant a better life in Konoha. It meant not having to watch his step, not having to please anyone.
The ninja world operated on one principle: survival of the fittest.
Still, he couldn't reveal everything at once. He needed a gradual progression. Otherwise, the paranoid old men in Konoha's upper echelons would definitely do something… inconvenient.
Qianyu suppressed his excitement. He'd retrieve the reward after school, once he got home.
