Draconis stepped towards the bed, and several Minccino immediately jumped happily to his side. Draconis stroked their little heads, and then carefully examined the egg. The eggshell had fiery red speckled patterns, a shape somewhat resembling the patterns on Volcarona's wings.
Placing a hand on the eggshell, one could clearly feel a scorching temperature, like a giant hand warmer.
If one pressed an ear against it, one could clearly perceive the beating heart of the unhatched Larvesta inside the eggshell, sounding so healthy and vibrant.
