Chapter 42 - Chapter 39

A Quiet Office and a Big Decision

Lucien hadn't expected to be called to Professor Sprout's office the next morning.

He knocked politely.

"Come in, dear," Sprout said warmly.

Lucien stepped inside, Alolan Vulpix padding after him.

Professor Sprout folded her hands, smiling. "Madam Hooch spoke very highly of your flying skills."

Lucien considered that for a moment. "…Flying is relaxing."

Sprout chuckled. "Would you be interested in joining the Hufflepuff Quidditch team?"

Lucien tilted his head slightly. "For this year only."

Sprout paused—then nodded. "That's reasonable."

Lucien bowed his head lightly. "Thank you, Professor."

As he left, Sprout reached for her wand.

"Send William Hawthorne to my office," she instructed.

🧹 Hufflepuff's Captain Gets the News

William Hawthorne, Hufflepuff's Quidditch captain, arrived minutes later.

"You wanted to see me, Professor?"

Sprout smiled brightly. "I've found an excellent Chaser for the team."

William straightened. "Who?"

"Lucien Aurelius Peverell Lionhardt."

William blinked—then nodded calmly. "That makes sense."

He hesitated. "…The rumors. Are they true? About Flying class?"

Sprout laughed softly. "Yes. They played tag. On brooms."

William nodded again, already imagining formations. "I'll make room."

And just like that, Hufflepuff's future looked very bright.

🦁 Gryffindor's Turn

That same day, Flying class took place again—this time Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.

Harry mounted his broom, heart racing.

"Tag?" someone shouted.

Harry grinned.

Moments later, he was flying—fast, sharp turns, instinct guiding him.

High above the pitch, Professor McGonagall stopped walking.

Her eyes narrowed.

Then widened.

"…Oh."

After class, she didn't say a word.

She simply took Harry by the shoulder.

"Mr. Potter," she said briskly, "come with me."

Minutes later, Harry stood in front of Oliver Wood.

"You're our new Seeker," McGonagall said firmly.

Harry blinked. "…I am?"

Wood looked ecstatic.

🐍 A Quiet Message and a Very Fast Broom

Back in her office, Professor Sprout wrote a short note.

Lucien Lionhardt will be joining the Hufflepuff Quidditch team as a Chaser.

The message reached Professor Snape before dinner.

Snape read it once.

Then twice.

"…Excellent."

That evening, an order was placed—quietly, efficiently.

A custom-made Nimbus 2000, balanced precisely to Lucien's build.

Snape did not smile.

But he was very pleased.

🌙 Ripples Through Hogwarts

By nightfall, the castle buzzed.

Two Potters.

Two teams.

Two prodigies.

Lucien sat calmly in the common room, Vulpix asleep beside him, completely unaware that Hogwarts Quidditch had just entered a new era.

Somewhere else in the castle, Harry Potter held a broom with shaking hands—excited, nervous, determined.

Both brothers were flying now.

And Hogwarts was watching.
